This is the second time I’ve given Birchbox a chance. I was subscribed for over two years the first time, and this time I went with six months. I’m glad it was only six months, because I am not pleased at all with Birchbox. The samples are TINY and rarely do I receive any makeup. Hair masks or dry shampoo (which I do not use) are standard fare in this box. I have received the Mac mascara that’s in the November spoilers numerous times in this or other sub boxes. November is my last Birchbox forever, unless they ever decide to step up and deliver like Ipsy does. In fact, most of this box looks like things I’ve already received.

I’d like to get my October box. It’s still waiting to be shipped.

I am still waiting also.

I think they have a problem updating their shipping info. I got mine yesterday even though the tracking info said it was still waiting to be shipped.

Mine was the curated box, and I didn’t choose. I subbed for three months, very disappointed.

I have been a birchbox subscriber off and on for 3 years. My boxes really do seem to get better and more personalized as time goes by. I’ve loved my past few boxes, and looking forward to new surprises next month.

I need to check my profile to make sure I don’t get that lip product. Other than that I like.

I canceled and resumed and ever since my boxes have been excellent every month. Not sure if there is a connection but it seemed like it…

My boxes suddenly got better for the last 4 months and I never cancelled. In 2017 I had like 10 boxes in a row that were basically perfect promo boxes and then 4 months of totally random stuff not for my hair or skin type. I am so curious about how that kind of thing happens.

The October curated Birchbox was a hit for me. Keeping my fingers crossed that November is too!

I feel like I must be the odd person here, but I LOVE Birchbox. I signed up a few months ago, and I’ve already found several HGs and gotten to try loads more products that were on my radar for a while. Yes, the samples are small, but they have all been great quality. Maybe I just really rocked my personalization profile, or maybe it’s because I’ve kept up with making reviews regularly, but whatever it is, Birchbox has really been knocking it out of the park for me!

I love Birchbox too!

I cancelled a while back but then realized I missed it a bit – especially when there are sales and perks for aces. They have a lot of brands I like.
Then came a sale for $7 per box so I signed up for 6 months. I’ll see what $42 buys me in the next 6 boxes. Something tells me it’ll be worth a heck of a lot more!

I’m in the minority. I keep coming back to BB. They end up sending me most of my favorite brands and products. And even when I get repeats, they’re usually products I love.

I was not happy with my October box, three hair care! I will not be renewing after my year is up in November.

Yeah, I want to say that I’m “over” Birchbox but I was not *ever* impressed or excited by the boxes.. I think I have 2 or 3 more and I’m looking forward to my sub ending! It’s a chore trying to unload it all, since I generally don’t care for 90% of what I get

I’m cancelling after I receive my last prepaid box. I’m no longer an Ipsy subscriber, but when I was their customization was better for me than Birchbox.

I tried Birchbox for 3 months in the spring, thought I loved it and signed up for a year. As soon as I did, my boxes since have been awful. Hoping the next couple boxes make up for the last few. :/

I just got my second Birchbox and I’m still a bit on the fence about it. Each box has had a couple products I like but 2-3 misses – and a product not working for me or that I rarely wear (or a mostly empty sample tube) cuts down on the practical box value. (Although speaking of boxes, I love the little Birchboxes and plan to repurpose them for storing jewelry or sub box samples. I might like them even better than the IPSY bags since they are stackable!)
My November box will decide whether I stick around, cancel for now with plans to try later, or cancel entirely. I think if they just tweaked personalization a tad bit more (Such as allowing opting out of certain items) it might work a bit better.
