Strange we’re a third through the month and not a single spoiler for the regular glam bag yet. I guess all the time and work is going into to the glam bag plus now 🙁

It’s been 4 days. Still haven’t received a response about not receiving the $5 shopper credit for all the Oct.

Technically I believe they can’t do that. Bc we already paid for the Oct Plus bag. The “$5 shopper” was given to all those who signed up and subbed for Oct Plus. We already paid! Therefore qualified for the shopper bonus. They can’t take back the $5 shopper bonus bc Ipsy is upset we decided we didn’t want Plus for the month of Nov. This was a Oct promo, they should honor it. There was no asterisk and nothing noting *must remain a Plus member to use $5 shopper credit, if you cancel your Plus membership you will lose the $5 shopper bonus*. I’ve emailed multiple times now, and they are ignoring me, not acknowledgin the offer and keep telling me about the $5 shopper rebate (which is obviously not the $5 Plus offer). I’m at the point where I feel I just need to contact my cc company Bc of Ipsy’s shady business.

Pretty soon somebody can have my spot for glam bag plus. Super disappointed with that. Luxury level of products is not as suggested, and your beauty profile doesn’t seem to matter at all for glambag plus.

Ipsy plus isn’t listed as luxe,it’s just 5 full sized items monthly with a deluxe bag quarterly. (compared to smaller typical cloth Ipsy bags)

Hmm Interesting. I signed up for a 10.00 glam bag on Oct 3, it’s still on the waitlist because apparently I have to spam Ipsy to everyone on my messenger list or I can’t get a bag. I refuse.
But I sign up for this, using a different email and I’m getting the NOVEMBER bag. Not the Oct bag.. November.
I’m just cancelling everything. This company is so messy lately, I can’t really be bothered anymore.

That usually happens when you sign up, they tell you the following months bag to be safe, but most likely you will get Octobers.

I signed up yesterday and it said i was getting November. I emailed them and they said sorry about the confusion you will be getting October bag! So hopefully everyone else will too. Just email them. I emailed last night and got a response this morning 😊

Ipsy is ridiculous in my experience. I joined just to get the Glam Bag Plus, spent two weeks on the waitlist, got the email telling me I’d be upgraded ‘later this month’ in September, and then never got upgraded. Got two very late and unhelpful replies from CS. But then I saw the spoilers and I’m so glad they didn’t upgrade me. I’m looking forward to canceling after my October bag ships.

Ipsy is so contrived. I don’t think there is any kind of waitlist.
I got the Glam Bag Plus without ever jumping through all their social media links.
They do a lot of lying.
For my other account for this month they offered me a free gift to rejoin.
This is just another way to get new subscribers.

I signed up today and my first bag will be November, also. I just double checked it and it definitely says November. Darn, I really liked the bag this month…well, at least I’m finally giving it a try.

I’m of the opinion that there’s not nor has there ever been a real waitlist for the Glam Bag. It’s just a ploy to boost their social media presence. But it’s nice to see that they’re going to suspend the charade for a least a day.

In the beginning there was a real waitlist,when ipsy was first introduced. It took months to join and I still have fomo flashbacks and for that reason I just can’t cancel lol

Yep. I don’t have any sm accounts so when they gave the option of getting off the waitlist by sharing Ipsy on FB, I sent them an email not so gently letting them know of my displeasure about that. They immediately took me off with an apology that it’s not their intention to prioritize people with sm accounts (even though it is and they do).

ipsy now exists to get hits on social media. The makeup is a sideshow excuse. I just take the bag and makeup for $10 a month, and never go to any social media. It’s a fabulous deal, as long as you don’t fall for their social media nonsense.
