They just seem to not be able to hit the mark. With so many Ltd boxes it’s not as fun.

I guess that I am easily pleased. I don’t mind getting samples in boxes, especially of products that I have never tried. I have allergies to some ingredients and a larger size of a product that I am allergic to would be a waste.

I’m not falling for any more of these play smart boxes. I’m smarter than Sephora gives their average customer credit for. I’ve gotten return credit for 2 out of the 3 Play Smart boxes I’ve bought & the only reason I didn’t get return credit for the 3rd was bc they sent me 2 of them. The 1st one they sent had a defective item in it so I felt I got my money’s worth in that box (the glitter eye box), but the box with the folding pink bag & the skin care by your age bag? All teeny tiny samples that can’t possibly give me a good idea of how a product performs. I’ll be lucky if I can get 2 full uses out of each one. The Tatcha water cream in the ages box was nearly empty! The fold up bag was one I bought before spoilers were out & was an instant regret when I saw the sizes of the products plus the bright red lipstick. The SK2 cream was like a dime sized blob worth of product lol. Never have I felt so ripped off by a series of products. I recommend avoiding these things at all costs unless you 100% know exactly what you’re getting including the sizes of the items & you feel that it’s worth what you’re paying for those itty bitty samples.

What a horribly valued box. You literally have to want every single thing or it’s a bust. FYI – that hair brands sucks!

Once again, hire me Sephora, I can turn it around for you 😆

so not worth it, I bought three age boxes with this mint bag/tablets and samples are soooo small. I am done with Sephora!

How big do you guys expect the samples to be? The value of the products is high. They are putting expensive products in there. They can’t put half-sizes of products costing $25-90 in a $20 box 🤔

The last trio of skincare products boxes Sephora released had good value to them (I think the 40’s box had something like a $92 value), and they were all products I would use. There are at least 3 products in here I don’t care about, and an advertised value of $31…pass. If you are someone who really wants all of these products at an $11 savings, then this might be a good deal for you.

Other boxes do. I don’t know how they do it, but they do.

Sadly, the Herbivore Pink Cloud does not absorb. Texture is like a thinner (but still slightly thick) yogurt. Smells divine. But did not absorb into my face, started piling like crazy. So sad. Reviews for Herbivore’s moisturizers Moon Fruit and Pink Cloud seem to have the issue for some ppl.

I’ve never had a problem with the pink cloud piling and it doesn’t have any ingredients that would usually cause that. Maybe you are using too much? Also piling can happen if your skin is rough and not exfoliated well enough. Maybe exfoliate well first and use as a night cream.. I love all Herbivore products i’ve tried. But i have read bad reviews about ordering it from Birchbox (like old stock/turned products)

Hmm… don’t think it’s bc of rough skin. Herbivore is a great clean brand, I’m using their pink & charcoal soap, rose toner, tansy mask & Luna oil(I love them all!); unfortunately the Pink Cloud just wasn’t so great due to poor absorption and pilling.

This is a soooooo noooo for me. Bite beauty has ingredients I am allergic to and hair products never thrill me. No value. The last smart box was fabulous.

Don’t feel this box is worth the price. I’m passing

Not worth the $20 to me…$31 value? I wont use everything in this, so that brings the value down more for me. I have my hair care staples and don’t like getting samples for hair because theres never enough for my huge head of hair! Easy pass on this.

A $31 value seems pretty low compared to their first Superfoods box, which I thought was a pretty good deal. Also, I really dislike getting shampoo and conditioner samples. I have long, thick hair and there is never enough product for me to really try it out. Also, I’m just not into the HUM gummies. There are a couple products I’d like to try like the Herbivore and YTTP, but not enough to pay $20. I got the first box when it went on sale for $16 and I loved everything in it, so this feels like a let down for me.

The 1st box was amazing! Sad to see the 2nd one drop in value 🙁

I love that Herbivore pink cloud, its amazing, I use it with the pink clay bar soap. But that and the Bite Lipstick are the only things i think i would use in this…not sure if its worth the 20 bucks

The original SuperFoods box is also on sale now for $16.
