FYI – The CosmoBox subscriptions are pausing until November:

Hello Cosmo Box Subscriber,

We are reaching out to provide an update concerning our subscription box program. The Cosmo Box Team heard your feedback and is working on a new strategy to provide better product curation and shipping timing for our monthly box offering. Therefore, we will be taking a brief “pause” until November to revamp our program and will not ship or process new boxes in September and October for active subscribers. Please note that if you paid in advance for a six month subscription you WILL receive all boxes and timing will resume in November.
Also, our pricing will NOT change but we will continue to secure several amazing products and brands to increase the value of our boxes. We are looking forward to building a Fun, Fearless, Female Cosmo Box offering that you will love! Stay tuned for an update with more details in October.

  1. Has anyone received the November box yet? I believe they charged and did not send

  2. All they have to do is get on MSA and look at some examples of what a $30 plus box should look like. They are Cosmo considering their magazine is full of ads you’d think there would be plenty of participants wanting to get their items in the Cosmo box.

  3. This box needs to get it together, they’re just a mess. No coherent themes, inconsistent mailing, price hikes, skipping months?

    I love the idea of Cosmo having a subscription, but you would think such a big company would have put someone in charge of this with experience (maybe they hired someone who used to work at Loot Crate).

    I’m not willing to give this box a chance until they get consistent. This is just embarrassing.

  4. I still don’t understand though how this is in any way acceptable? They still have everyone’s money from July and August! But no one is going to receive anything from them until November now? I don’t see them mentioning a refund anywhere.

    • They stated everyone would receive as many boxes that they had prepaid for. It was just going to take longer. So, instead of say Aug-Oct, it would be Nov-Jan. It’ll all even out in the end. At least, that’s what they’re saying. Let’s see if they actually follow through.

      • While it’s great that they mentioned you will eventually get your boxes I’m also pretty sure a few people are getting OUI Please flashbacks where even if they get all their boxes they are usually stuck keeping close track of them and having to fight to actually get what they pay for in a timeline that is far from the advertised one. If Cosmo is sure they’re going to be coming back better and stronger they should either give a small incentive to those whose money they have to stick with them or at least mention that a refund is an option. This puts a lot of people and their money in purgatory and it’s also much harder to get a refund the longer you wait.

      • So what if that’s what they’re saying yeah u get all ur boxes in the end but u paid for the boxes to come when they were supposed to come and not be forced to wait because they can’t get their act together that’s bull!! They certainly should offer an easy out if u don’t wanna wait, that’s the least they can do! How about this don’t start a sub business without proper research and Market Research!

    Anyway, I got my money back from the bank, and I will never give CosmoBox a chance again after such an appalling display of unprofessionalism.
