So done with Birchbox.

I didn’t choose and got the curated box anyways.

Just not getting enough products that I really like.

Yup, I just cancelled my subscription after I just saw what I was getting, the mask, then Eyeko liner (again! I don’t even wear eyeliner!), dry shampoo( nope, don’t wear that either), thickening spray ( do they even look at our profiles????), and a tinted moisturizer. Cancelled! Tried to give them a second chance, but did, and they failed, again…

Me neither. I really am not excited about this.

I don’t love Birchbox, so this will be my last one.

October will be my 3rd month with birchbox (and beauty boxes in general) so I’m pretty easy to please at this point. My September box was pretty decent, not particularly exciting but I did get things that are useful that I wanted to try. October looks good to me so I’m excited for it.

I got suckered in by Birchbox lol. Being a subscription noob though i should be pretty easy to please too. It’s just a 3 month sub but I hope I don’t regret it

I haven’t watched the video reveals for a few months now, but, seriously, this video is weak. We need Loralei to show us what the products actually look like on!

I miss her too! She was such a great hype girl. Wonder where she’s been?

Lorelei left Birchbox in March 2018. She works for Prose now.

Looks like I am finally canceling this month. Oh well, I am getting the Ipsy Plus next month so I’m excited about that! I am also unsubcribing to Julep and Lip Monthly but giving the Macy’s box another try.

Looks like I’m going with the curated box and again; seems like that’s the only opinion that preferred in the last 5 months; the individual sample options aren’t making the cut for me because they’re either repeats and/or nothing that I need or want.

I cancelled Birchbox a few months ago and only after having subbed for two months. I thought the samples were really small! Have they gotten any better?

Roberta

True, BB could cut their boxes in half and the box would still have plenty of room for each month’s samples. I’ve been with them since the get-go and continue to hang on…….but finally decided (I think, lol) will cancel in Dec when my yearly sub comes up for renewal.

The sizes are still the same. I stayed subscribed bc I had an offer for a year at a discount plus I used my points and the 12 boxes came to about $7 each. I won’t renew when it’s back to $10 though. I agree w you the sizes are pretty small.

I discovered Ceramidin a year ago through Birchbox and it has become one of my go-to products. I wouldn’t call it lightweight though unless they’ve reformulated it along with the new packaging. It has a thick texture and is great for dry skin!

I love it too. They have a liquid that’s a bit thinner, I think. I like the curated box, but I got that eyeshadow in last month’s box….. But I like everything else. May have to go for it anyway. The eyeshadow is really pretty

Is the ceramidin cream in a metal tube? I can’t use anything from metal tubes as I have some sort of allergy, but I’d like this box.

I’m going with the curated box as well. I’ve been wanting to try that ACV rinse and have never tried an ittse shadow before so that will be new for me too. I could do without yet another dusty pink lippie (it seems like every box has been sending this same shade for months now) but I’ll just swap it.
