  1. Why aren’t they listening to the feedback they’ve been getting the past 2+ years? If you read the comments each season, we’ve all been having the same complaints for so long now and yet the company refuses to budge or change or compensate, nothing. It’s comically shocking at this point! As if they “Anti-Care” about keeping their customers happy!

  2. I prefer to keep my hair besides I don’t think I’d make a cute bald girl.

I would totally use the comb and the invisibobbles and the Skin Co stuff but that’s about all.

  3. New branding same old tricks!
3 WEN products, no thank you!!
    My wallet is safe.

  4. I ordered it. Not thrilled with the repeats (Wen Comb, now I have 3! that I won’t use and Invisibobble). But the box costs less than the 2 Wen products that I would buy anyway. And I love Zoya, the only brand nail polish I use. There are only 5 products I don’t want so that’s better than the last box. I also ordered the Mystery Box for $35. If anybody knows what’s in the mystery box, please let me know. I hope they mail this box as fast as the last one. I got it in 7 days! We are moving next month so hope I get it soon.

    • Last year when I ordered the December box there was an option for a mystery box. It was the May box. Thankfully I hadn’t gotten that one earlier. So it will probably one of the boxes from earlier this year.

    • I ordered a mystery box last yr and was sent a past month’s box.

  5. Has Wen been bought out by a subsidiary of Allure’s parent company? It’s been in the past few boxes. Seems like they are really pushing it.

I was a dedicated buyer of these boxes in the past but this one just doesn’t do it for me. It’s not even product overload this time, but the fact that there’s nothing that wows me.

    • Me neither nothing at all! Good thing it’s not still called beauty thrills cause there’s absolutely nothing thrilling about any of these products doesn’t even seem like a good value either! I don’t even think it’s swag! Maybe cheap unwanted swag!

    • Wen has had a hard time after the hair loss law suit thing. They lost a ton of customers so guessing allure can get their products really cheap right now.

  6. Wow! What a bunch of overpriced drug store items! And their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! I have contacted them 17 times in the last two years about a set of brushes that were missing from my box. They promised all 17 times to send them and never did. I cancelled and REFUSE to ever sub again. Idc how good the box is. I’ll never give them another one if my hard earned dollars. Disgusting! They should be ashamed.

    • That’s crazy! I was missing a really cheap product (forgot what it was) in my Fall 2017 Beauty Thrills box and I called them and they gave me the option to pick one out of tons of high end beauty products and I went with a full size Clarins moisturizer. I received it within two weeks.

  7. UGH …. I bought all 3 boxes in April.
These Products – in other scents or colors-
have been in the 2 previous boxes:

    CHAPSTICK® Total Hydration
INVISIBOBBLE SLIM – The Elegant Hair Ring in Crystal Clear
    NUBIAN HERITAGE 24-Hour Deodorant
WEN BY CHAZ DEAN Bamboo Green Tea Cleansing Conditioner
WEN BY CHAZ DEAN Fall Ginger Pumpkin Cleansing Conditioner
WEN BY CHAZ DEAN Saw-Cut Shower Comb

And many of the other look like they are samples and not full sized.
What a waste of money – product look like they are from a DOLLAR STORE jumble bin.

    • I was thinking dollar store as well and why does it seem like the feminine wipes are the most exciting item!?!? 😂🤣

  8. No thank you. Looks like drugstore products. I ordered the Beauty Report even though I already have more stuff than I can use. I made “beauty boxes” for Christmas gifts last year and they were a huge hit so all my extras will be gifted again.

  9. I agree with what everyone has said so far and I’ll raise you this: many of these brands are available at Target.

    Hard pass, not jealous.

  10. I just ordered the Beauty Report box yesterday. It seemed like a much better value than this one and it was only half the price of this one. Easy pass for me!

  11. I got the 3 box deal in Spring when it was $119: the biggest mistake ever!
These boxes are a disaster! Repeat items (this 3rd box = 3rd Wen comb). Broken items (heavy boxes with items rattling inside with no padding = many plastic bottles arrived cracked/broken/leaking). Expired items! (ALL Wen products in 2 boxes so far have 2015 date!).
Called a company for a refund = customer service is an equal disaster, I received a lot of excuses but no refund.
    Buyer beware!

    • I couldn’t agree with you more about their customer service. I ordered the October box last year and it arrived missing over one-third of its items! Three calls later, no refund or shipment of missing items (which had been promised each time I called). I finally gave up. I was disappointed — I’d ordered the May 2017 box and was very happy with it, as it even included extra items! I seem to have missed the glory days for this box, so after a great first box with extras and a bad second box missing a lot of its content, I’m calling it a break-even and walking away.

  12. Yeah I think I will pass on this…not that I don’t like the products, but like someone else commented…”Beauty Report Box was half the price.” I didn’t even get the beauty report box because I have just too much “stuff!” Just got my FFF w/add-ons today and I still have my Luxe box from Boxy coming Friday so I think I will give my credit cards a break on this one.

  13. Way too much hair stuff to make it interesting for me. I have a pixie cut and an established product routine. Just a bunch of stuff I’d have to store and too heavy to swap.

  14. Is it me or does this just seem like a big ole waste of $$$?

I actually want to get one of thee boxes, but so far, I am really not impressed…much less spend $60 for it.

    • I’m with you. I get the Walmart box, and this just seems like a bigger version except way more expensive. And $10 for shipping? The previous ones didn’t look so good to me either. I thought I would jump all over these boxes, but I don’t see anything that makes me want to get it; especially for $70. Definitely an easy pass for me.

  15. One-third of the box is hair items, so I’ll pass. I’m just one of those people whose hair is NOT improved by adding anything other than shampoo, alas.

Waren’t the Allure boxes only $50 last year? My memory is bad.

  16. Eh. After the Beauty Report box (for half the price, I might add) this is so lackluster, plus again with all the Wen?

    • Agreed. I just spent $60 on TWO Beauty Report boxes, and I’m getting tons of skincare value with those.

  17. Ugh, more Wen. Another pass for me. I used to love these boxes, 3-4 years ago.

    • Same here. But that was back when you had to mark your calendar to order at noon or they would sell out. I bought a year’s subscription because I didn’t want to go through that each time but shortly after that they went way downhill. I ended up with the box that had 4 or 5 huge Wen products and barely anything else and I hate that stuff. Just makes my fine hair greasy and flat. I keep hoping they will improve again. It is ALLURE after all. But they just get less and less appealing each time.

      • I remember those days…about three name changes ago? The last box that I really loved from them had two $100+ face serums in it. I’m not sure I’ve seen a hero item like that in this box in a very long time. Allure use to have some very good beauty giveaways, too. I really miss their epic August one!

I think the value of this box is still good if you like the products, it just doesn’t seem that appealing given how much better they used to be and given all the competition out there.

        • Exactly! You’d think they’d be very aware of all the competition. Heck, even their own $15 box has way better stuff in it. They really need to up their game, especially at this price point. Honestly the last few have been so pathetic I’m surprised they’re still doing them.
