I’m confused. Maybe I’m missing it, but I’m having trouble finding info on what’s in the box. Is it just three items total? So you can select two polishes and a lip crayon?

I notice the site wants you to list your interests – makeup, polish, skincare. If you select makeup as a preference, for example, do you have to select a makeup item for your box?

You can usually fit 2-3 items in your box, depending on size and RV. Usually you can fit two polishes and either a makeup item or a skincare item. Or like three polishes and maybe a sticker sheet or nail file.

Your interests are probably used to curate your box BUT you can 100% customize/change it as many times as you want from the 20-24th, and billing is on the 27th.

It’s great that you can customize, and if you do 3 or 6 month subs, the value is really there, especially with skincare. 🙂

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!

I can’t decide which to get! 😭😭 I wasn’t the green, grayish, gold, and pinkish ones!

My first time excited for a box in ages! I prefer neutrals and also they are more work friendly for me!

Question, it says in the details that the free bonus gift is 3 polishes in 1 Beauty item. Is this in addition to the 12-piece nail polish set?

Anna

The gift you get depends on the code you use? There are sometimes gifts that have their K-beauty items too.

I like the gray, green and purple. The rest of them just won’t work with my beyond pale coloring.

Tempted by the nail polish this time around but I’ll probably get two of the It’s Balms! (the pink and peach)

Ooooh, I’ve skipped the last 2 boxes, but not this time–those are super pretty and have early fall vibes for sure! I also LOVE that lip balm, it’s so smooth and smells heavenly. I’m so glad they finally have new colors…

Nothing interesting to me this time around.

The nail colors are really pretty this round. Too bad I only use Inocco nail polish strips these days. (They are not wraps they are actual polich that lasts and comes off only with remover.) Normal polish just takes too long to dry and chips to easily.

I use them as well, totally love them! I was very disappointed when Incoco stopped selling online. I also use sail strips from Espionage Cosmetics. These are very good and long lasting as well.

oops! I meant to type nail strips, not sail strips!

Kathryn

These colors are right up my alley! I want ALL of them. This will be my first month to get a box and I’m wondering how the customization works. Sorry if I’ve missed the info somewhere, but how many items do you get to pick?

Also, just received the 12 polish gift, and just FYI, they are not the colors in the picture. I actually like the ones I got a lot better, because there’s a lot of reds/pinks/neutrals which is what I usually stick with, but may be helpful info if anyone was expecting specific colors.

I just noticed if you look under ‘curated boxes’ they do have an option to get a box of all the polishes for $15 extra or everything in the box (including three new shades of Balm lip crayons) for $45. I guess add-ons work by letting you buy stuff in addition to your custom box, but customized boxes let you just upgrade the box itself?

Jennifer

I’m going through the customization now. It looks like the box will fit two polishes and one makeup/skincare or three polishes. However, after you customize, it gives options for add-ons. You can get ‘all’ the polishes (in addition to the three items in custom box) for about $40. (Or, just pick the ones you like as extras for 4.99 to 6.99 each and get a free gift if you pick at least three – which seems a cheaper way to do it.)

I originally put two polishes I liked plus cushion complexion as my custom box. But, I kind of wanted the sepia balm lip crayon as well. It’s $9.99 for an add-on. However, if you get three add-ons, you get a free gift (which is apparently usually a mystery polish.) So I redid my custom box to be cushion complexion, balm, and some rose decals. Then I added three $4.99 polishes as add-ons (including Aubrey and Jennifer from this month. I really hope Jennifer is a sheer like it says (not how it look son the model which is probably a couple coats) since I want it for French manicures.

So for $15 extra in add-ons I should be getting 4 polishes (three I chose plus mystery gift) and am getting both the balm/cushion complexion I wanted in my box.

I may redo the box later to my original and not bother with add-ons and just not get the balm (since I do have plenty of lip products,) but at least I have a few days to think about it.

I was a little disappointed with customization though since none of the many polishes on my wishlist were options.

I did decide to just go back to a box of Cushion Complexion, Aubrey, and Shawn #Shine (hopefully the colors should look great together.) I haven’t been ‘wowed’ by the polishes I’ve tried from my 12-set box yet so I am not sure I want to spend more on extra polish from Julep just yet.

(Although I got Wilma as an add-on when I first joined and the color is amazing! It’s a shimmery, lovely rose gold, but in some lighting it tends more golden and in others it tends toward pink. It probably needs a topcoat though – I tested it without and it chips at the tips (not too noticeable, though. I think Wilma is an option for swaps or add-ons this month so if you are looking for a rose gold it’s a nice one!)

Jennifer

My gift box was very different as well. I think they may be random – reading through reviews of specific polishes on the site it looks like people get an assortment (sometimes even top coats or base coats) rather than a specific set of 12 colors.

Mandy

Kathryn, you can add in as many products as you want to the box, for an additional cost. There’s usually an option to select all of the Polish colors for the month when you customize your box! 🙂

Ragan

Those colors are not very exciting for me. (My husband says the colors I wear can be seen from space, or that I could direct traffic in a hurricane…) So I will probably skip.

I am right there with you! I love the brights! 😀

Me three. I’m wondering what kind of skin care you can get but I think you have to buy the box before you pick it out? Is this correct?

Deanne

I like some of these colors for the first time in months! Excited to get some new colors.
