Before subscribing, I have read their terms. Was I surprised!

“We reserve the right to provide substantially similar products to fulfill your order.” Really? So I am not guaranteed anything in the box?

“If you receive a damaged or incomplete order, please contact us at [email protected] within three [3] weeks of receiving your order. We may offer any refunds or replacements solely in our discretion.” MAY offer?

And my personal favorite:

“We are no longer responsible for damage to your order or risk of loss once we deliver your order to the common carrier for shipment to you. Title to your order passes from us to you at the time we deliver your order to the common carrier.”

Oh now THAT is shady. I become less and less impressed with this company all the time. It seems like while they care deeply for their artisans, they aren’t so dedicated to the people who keep them in business.

Does anyone from Canada get this box? I’m wondering if you’re charged customs on the box when it arrives. The reason I ask is I don’t get charged customs when my FFF arrives but I did get charged a hefty fee when I got Box of Style once. Thanks!!

Does anyone know if we subscribed for the summer box when they had that code “lastfew”, if we are still getting it?
I got charged, but then no info about getting the box for 10 days now.

I’m super tempered to do the annual subscription, but I’m not sure they are keeping up with the volume.

Contact customer service and ask them what is going on. The summer 2.0 box had all sorts of delays and issues. From what I’ve been reading, some people who ordered the box back in June, are just now receiving it, minus the kimono, which will come at a later date.

I’ve subscribed off and on with Causebox for many years. While I really don’t like how they handled the situation with Summer 2.0, I think they can be trusted with the typical 4 seasonal boxes. Offering a second box over the summer was a new thing for them, and they clearly got a little too excited, promoted it too early without enough time to prepare and without having the actual products (not that I know anything about running this sort of business), and are still scrambling to deliver what they promised. Basically they just bit off more than they could chew. I’m sure the fall box has been in the works for quite a while, because this is a standard thing for them, and I don’t expect them to have any issues with this. I’d be very wary of a Fall 2.0 though.

I started falling in love with Causebox when I saw the Spring Box this year, but it sold out before I could sign up. Same thing happened with the 1st Summer Box, but finally snagged the 2nd Summer Box! I thought about pausing my subscription, however, these spoilers are pretty good! 🤔

I love it! I wouldn’t mind any of the three bag colors. But, I’m hoping I get the grey scarf. It would be awesome if we get that cup pictured with the model. What a fab box! So far, very classy.

I am going to change to annual so I can pick the colors. But this tote does not have a $80 value. The ones on the website is real leather, this one is not. Vegan leather/ plastic just does not have. The durability and strength that real leather does.

I don’t agree though, because even Dr. Marten’s charges the same amount for vegan leather as genuine leather. I get your point, but companies see it differently.

I’m so conflicted. I’m still upset at how the whole summer box 2.0 fiasco went down, and the number of subscribers, including myself, that got burned. But this box is looking even more amazing than that one. I’m loving the bag (gray dot or ivory please) and the blush scarf. Heck, I’m even contemplating going annual. But I’m still angry, but the things, they are so pretty, ugh!

So sorry, every comment i leave telling the story never shows up. Which is odd because I’m being really fair. Basically over the summer they bit off more than they could chew by offering a second box. Things happened that were understandable, but some customers weren’t treated very fairly. Look through the reviews from the second summer box.

The boxes came super late, I am still waiting for the kimono from my summer 2 box. I unsubscribed because of that

The summer 2.0 box went up for sale in late June and was advertised to be “shipping now!” However it wasn’t, and it was majorly delayed. To CauseBox’s credit the people who made the kimonos had a family emergency, and CauseBox made the decision to work with them, which was honorable, in a way. However, they initially sent an email regarding the delay saying the box would ship mid-July, but it didn’t. Then it was July 25th-27th, but many of us didn’t get our shipping notifications, despite being promised we’d be in the first batch shipped. For those of us who contacted CS for updates, we kept getting promised that our box would be “expedited” and shipped by a certain date, and it didn’t come. I had that conversation with CS 4 times. I finally just asked for a refund a week ago because at this point, there’s no point in getting a summer box in September. I took that money and put it toward a fall box. From what I hear, while some people have gotten their boxes and loved them, they are now shipping out boxes without the kimonos (the hero item of the box), and saying they will send them later, which would have been a great move if they had done that much earlier, but taking that step after delaying the box so long doesn’t seem like enough. Then, while some of us, who ordered the box months ago, were still waiting patiently, Causebox was advertising that box hard, and offering discounts to new subscribers. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. I love that they wanted to be kind and understanding towards the manufacturers, but they also needed to show a little kindness and understanding towards the customers who paid for the product.

Does anyone know if they sell out of the boxes and if it happens quickly? I haven’t subscribed to causebox before but this one has me really wanting to! I went back and looked at the other boxes they did this year and I think I might have to go for it but probably won’t be able to for a week or two 🙂

They definitely sell out, but I can’t say how quickly it will happen. They are getting more popular and this is their best box. They might come out with a second fall box if it sells out quickly.

I really want to get this box and for $40 I think it is definitely worth it! I just really cant spend that right now, because of my $200 FabFitFun bill for the fall box and add ons, and I’m definitely upgrading for BoxyLuxe since I’m a makeup gal, then I still have Allure, Ipsy, and Play! Yikes!!! When I write it all out it kind of sounds a bit rediculous lol $300 in one month on beauty subs, but then again I would be spending a ton more if I had to buy the products outright. Ok ok ok I’m not gonna be able to convince myself to buy it! Just got my cards paid off and I wanna keep it that way lol
