i thought i had cancelled my subscription after the last disaster of a box, but somehow i still got billed for this one. not as big of a disaster as the last box, but still not great. they found a way to include a completely overpriced piece of fabric and act like it is something special. at least this time i will use the earrings, sunscreen and lipstick, unlike last time with that god awful bracelet, stinky hand lotion and crappy heel cream. but those probably add up to about $30. haven’t decided yet what to think of the purse, but it isn’t worth $70.
How long were you on the waitlist? I searched for this on their Swap site and apparently there’s a WAIT list for the Swap site? That’s just bizarre to me. And really makes no sense. And upon seeing the wait list, I didn’t even realize Id already submitted my name over a year or more ago.
the scarf on nordstrom is a more expensive double version of the scarf. the simpler version is $40 and you can find online for sale for $6. 🙂
I also got a very similar bag today at TJ Maxx for $12. It’s cute, but doesn’t hold a ton. It reminds me of the 1951 that was in luxor box.
I was very disappointed in this box; other than the purse which is the only reason I bought the box, there were far fewer items than usual and the explanations appeared to be hurried. Box is always late anyway
The body chemistry is just a gimmick. It turns the same pink color on everyone. It just looks different because we all have different colors of lips / skin.
The lipstick appears green in the tube but changes color based on body chemistry. I have one from the company that is blue but it applies relatively sheer then transitions to a berry shade. They have a yellow one, a red one, a black one, and they all change based on your body.
