I got an email today with a tracking number. My August box has shipped! This threw me off to see my Allure box ship so early! I think it is true they ship 2 rounds each month. The upcoming boxes look great so I’ll probably sub through December. I first ordered this box when it was Sample Society.

Cassie

I don’t want the August box, but I want September-December. Does anyone know when I can order and get Sept as my first box?

Athena

If you subscribe through Amazon, do you get the same boxes as if you were to subscribe on the allure website?

I’m thinking I might cancel ipsy and give allure a try for the rest of the year. Just haven’t been excited about Ipsy the last few months. Anyone else have opinions if allure is generally better than ipsy? Looks like you get more luxury brands from allure.

Honestly, I started subs in 2016. I started w/ Birchbox & ipsy. I’ve tried quite a few. Im still with ipsy and I’ve been w/ allure for 1 1/2 years. Between the two… idk… I can’t decide and when I had to make a budget adjustment, I cut out one meal out a month. The amount of product I get for the money with both is just too good. It saves me a lot of money in the long run. I make gift bags with the stuff I don’t want. I have noticed that ipsy has been more off this year but if you start an email conversation about it, you’ll end up getting better bags for a few months.

oh yea, thanks allure, this box rocks, and thanks for the heads up on the months to come…..I love allure beauty box….great stuff.

I totally think that it’s wrong to cancel your box just because you don’t like that particular months items or resub just to try to get a special deal and then be pissed off because you don’t get a loyalty gift!

Heidi

Oh, okay Allure. I see you. I’m coming back.

Jill C.

WOW…lots to look forward to! But I’m not sure if I can wait 4 months to try Star Skin! And the Glow Recipe Watermelon Sheet Mask is FABULOUS! (pure watermelon hydrogel) I’ve tried it so I speak from experience. This has truly been a great year for Allure.

Liz

Still waiting on July’s box. No tracking emails, nothing. Losing faith here… 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

I think Allure has a relationship with Sunday Riley.

Reply ButtonReply

Jill C.

LOL… sure seems that way! 😉 I almost bought a travel duo set of SR Good Genes and Ceramic Slip last month, so glad I didn’t. Glad to have the opportunity to try them in October!

JuJu

Didn’t receive my box till July 30th..very nice they sent out baublebar earrings:) Iv been subscribing to Allur for almost 3 years, some months are misses but overall it’s one of my fave boxes❣️

The fact that Allure decided to send certain customers extras in their boxes including bauble bar earrings but not others has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I called to ask why and how they decided exactly who is worthy? They deny it! Lol! So I suggested that they come here to mysubscriptionaddiction and read for themselves. Oh well, there’s some good stuff coming up and I need to fill a teenagers stocking. Too bad I didn’t get bauble bar earrings for free! That would’ve been a nice thing to do for longtime subscribers that put up with never ever getting shipping emails even after over two years of being a subscriber.

Charlotte

Ooh, I got a second sub through Amazon just for the July box, then canceled for August…looks like I’ll be doubling up again starting in September.

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

I think I must be the only one they never make those 4 for 10 offers to! Just sent a cancel email a few days ago, they definitely don’t make it easy to cancel. Only month that looks good to me is October.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

If you want to sub/unsub frequently, I suggest you do it through Amazon. One click unsubscribe there. You can’t use promos but you can easily pick and choose which months you purchase. It’s available to everyone, no need to be prime.

Sammee

They didn’t offer the $10 deal to me either when I called to cancel last week after seeing the August spoilers. I was offered a free box or beauty bag or something, but I turned that down because I heard that it’s just a few foil packets, which isn’t worth it to me for a $10 box of stuff I’m not going to use. I’ll resubscribe at the beginning of September, but I’m going through Amazon next time to make it easier to cancel. And I could be wrong, but it sounds like Amazon subscribers get their boxes faster.

Amber Miller

I had called to cancel august but they gave me the option to skip august and start the boxes back at $12 plus get a free make up bag and shampoo and conditioner. Since I seen these spoilers I stayed signed up.

Barbara

For DECEMBER, I am hoping they are going to do a collab with Huda Kattan, of Huda Beauty…fingers crossed!

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Ugh…I hope not. I’m having such a very hard time backing Huda anymore. It’s totally not cool when you steal an entire marketing concept from a smaller brand. Cough…cough, Beauty Bakery.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Oooh I think I’ll be resulting come October!

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Interesting that MAC is putting themselves out like that. I guess joining forces with Ulta really boosted their sales.

Looking forward to August through October; not really a big fan of masks, but who knows?

I’m curious who the December team-up will be with.

Reply ButtonReply

Christine

September and onwards looks great but August is a dud. Nice try but I will sign up in September Allure.

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

Fantastic! Enough said. 💕

Bella01

Allure, thank you for my Bauble Bar Earrings this month that came in my box. I love them. And I love you for noticing us who are committed to you each month. I’m excited for the up coming boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

clusby75

I also received the earrings as a free thank you gift for being a longtime subscriber 😊 very pretty earrings!

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

Bella01: Me too. Got those earrings and thought it was a really sweet gesture. I also got some Paula’s choice RESIST Spot Cream along with a self tanner a few months back too. It is good to see they appreciate those of us who stick it out even for some rather rough months. I sent them an email thanking them too. I love this box, it is my second favorite of all of the subscriptions (can’t beat Boxycharm).

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

I did not get any earrings….

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

I thought that was really nice too. I wore them out the night I received them and loved them.

Reply ButtonReply

Lr

How long have you been subscribed?

Reply ButtonReply

Jso

Well I cancelled when I saw the spoilers for the August box. Meh. They sent me the 4 for $10 email I was like whatever. And now this post. Quick email search 4 for $10 here I come. You reeled me back in Allure

Reply ButtonReply

Megan

How did you cancel? By calling? I sent an email to cancel a few days ago and haven’t received an email back. They also haven’t charged my account for august so I’m not sure what’s going on

Reply ButtonReply

Lil

I just canceled BoxyCharm. Done with their cr@p customer service. Called Allure and am back in the warm loving arms plus a customer service I actually reach by phone!

Anna

When I canceled I sent an email, it took a few days to hear back but they did cancel my subscription. I actually only canceled to have my subscription through Amazon.

Kendall

Is that 4 boxes for 10$? Wow super deal, I missed KatVonD box I was so upset!

Reply ButtonReply

Lori C

No, 10.00 a box.

Toni Marie

I asked about the 4 for $10 and the customer service rep said that was a deal that Allure had last year… i dont get why they are pretending that they are not other that as a deal

Reply ButtonReply

Jana

Yep – Me too – though not until after I saw the spoilers. I was tempted, and then, well WOW! Now I am excited!

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

4 boxes for $10! How did you get that offer?!?! I’ve got my eye on October’s box! I’m hoping at least one of the Sunday Riley items will be full-size. I couldn’t believe when they did it in Januarys box!

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

This is how my email from allure read. “We have processed your “4 for $10” offer. We will charge your credit card only $10.00 per month for the next four Allure Beauty Boxes. “. Not 4 boxes for $10 total.

Paula

Yeah I accepted the 4 for $10 offer – even without this spoiler! Lol

Reply ButtonReply

Artemis

Allure really seems to be on a roll lately. I cancelled a few days ago because I wasn’t interested in the August box, but I’ll probably resubscribe in October and stick around for the rest of the year. The selections are amazing! I hope the December box will be just as well-curated.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennie

Mind blown, im for sure indentured to this box at least until December. Wow. I hope lots of those are full size. *finger crossed*
