I wish designer Bob Mackie would have a box!

I think the box should be able to stand on the merits of what’s included not what affluent star is attributed to it. In fact sometimes it’s laughable at what products we get when it’s associated with someone famous you know would never use said product.

Jennie Garth curates the Mom Giftbox subscription box. Don’t know if it’s destined for fame though. xD

I have gifted foodstirs and it was a hit! Other than that, haven’t tried any other ‘celebrity sub’.
Having a big name doesn’t guarantee success in the subscription box world, don’t forget Oprah’s attempt. She has been super successful all around, but the subscription world is relentless.

So true! And good call on gifting Foodstirs! I bet it’s perfect for a parent or kiddo who loves to bake 🙂

Fabletics is my favorite “sub” although I skip each month and only purchase during sales. For 5-15 dollars an item, the quality and value are unprecedented. I want to try Martha’s box but am kind of burnt out on food subs.

The rest are a big meh. Even a celebrity name can’t save them.

Thanks for your post. Would never have known to do this.

I don’t know whatever happed to Nina’s Quarterly box, but it’s as if she doesn’t have the contacts she used to. That sub has been disappointing for years. Badass Box doesn’t live up to expectations and Slutbox has basically turned into a beauty box. Fabletics is great and so is their customer service!

I appreciate this article because it reminded me to sign up for Foodstirs!!
