Looks like a few special boxes geared towards specific areas. It’s called Play! Smart and the first one is how to tackle glitter eyes. Looks like there will be a video tutorial on how to create the looks and you don’t have to be subscribed, looks like a one off order. Could be fun!
First one is available tomorrow for 24 hours.

Of course they try something different/new when I just cancelled. I’ve been with them since the beginning and I am just underwhelmed.

I joined Sephora three months ago and have yet to get a box that is “personalized” like they claim- I have fine thin straight hair and they sent a frizz control instead of the volumeizer along with four other samples that I can’t use. I called CS and got a cut and paste reply- same one I got with the first two boxes. I finally asked to speak with a supervisor to try to get someone to answer how -exactly- they make decisions- she said that she would send the feedback to “shipping”. I guess some guy in that department decides my correct beauty needs- no one else seems to want to take responsibility for the bad service. I then decided that since they don’t care about customers, I would let their sample companies know that they were sending their products to people who were throwing them away and getting upset about the service. That seemed to get their attention. I let the Brazilian bum bum people know that they just lost hundreds of dollars in sales due to Sephora not sending samples to customers who wanted to try their product. It seemed to work and I would suggest everyone else to do the same- eventually Sephora will change their “personalization” policy….I’ve contacted multiple companies and urged them to read the posts on all of the sites dedicated to reviewing boxes to see what the actual customers felt.

I agree with what you are saying. Even when I purchase products on-line I like to select the “free 3 samples” I’m most likely to purchase but the last several orders they just threw in random samples. Don’t ask me to make my selection if you’re just going to give me random stuff! I’ve started purchasing online at Nordstrom or Neimans where they actually give you what you ask for.

That’s happened to me twice recently- random samples that weren’t the ones I chose with my online order. I’d also agree that they seem to overall neglect the profile and would add that I’ve gotten numerous repeats. I am weak though and can’t seem to fight my FOMO & just cancel. Whenever I’m about to they finally send a box with several items I actually really like.

Believe me, they do not pay any attention to your profile! I have been with them for over 2 years and the boxes have gotten worse! I will be canceling soon!

I never had funds for the $20 play boxes, but I swapped generously and got all three eventually. And I haven’t used any products, I’ve kept them as collectors items. I’m weird. I have been anticipating and now I’m a VIB (darn close to Rouge) so I hope I can just buy one outright. It’s been several months, I think there hasn’t been one in 2018. I could be wrong. Please correct me if I am.

Lol I did the same thing with the items I got. I think I used up one thing from the 3 boxes I got. I have a box of special “high” end skin care just sitting there…

Done with Play.
They shipped way too many boring pink/nude/mauves for me.

Oh, I hope it is another luxury box. We haven’t had one of those in what feels like forever.

I know! That’s what I’m hoping for anyway. I loved the past 2 LE boxes.
