Monthly Box of Food and Snacks is a new monthly snack box from thatdailydeal.com.

Get an assortment of delicious, brand name snacks and food delivered to straight to your doorstep every month for one low price! Almost everything you receive will be full sized items with well know brand names. Includes a variety of snacks from granola bars, chips, cereals, etc. A lot will even be organic! Please note, this box is an insanely good deal, so some best by dates could be just passed or about to pass or they could even have a year left on them. If you are a frugal shopper you understand that best by dates are arbitrary and the packaged foods we will be sending are perfectly fine after the best by dates. Items that could potentially melt will only be included in the cooler months. You may receive multiples of some items, but we will always send a good variety each month.

Some things to consider: Have a big family to feed? Feel free to order multiples, but keep in mind that it might result in doubling up on the exact same products or you could get completely different products. It will vary from month to month. Received something you aren't interested in? Give back to your community by donating the unwanted items. Have someone you want to send a care package to like a student in college or a grandparent? Let us do the work for you by shipping this box directly to them!

Most of our snacks expire before can finish them anyway so it’s no big deal to me. I’m so old I remember when there weren’t dates on things.

I can’t wait for the review. Please include the expiration dates. I’m not sure I want a bunch of stale snacks. And…you can’t donate expired products to food pantries either. I volunteered at one and my job was to sort and check expiration dates.

This is not true. I have worked (and still do) with many food pantries and they all have their own policies. Although I know you are correct that SOME have that policy, all the ones I have worked with do not have that policy. It depends on the type of food. For example pop tarts, that’s fine, while meat based products are generally not accepted past “best by” or “exp dates”.

I just wanted to make sure I chimed in on this so people don’t assume they can’t donate food and end up wasting it by throwing it in the garbage, which would be terribly sad. So much of our food is needlessly thrown out.

I’m trying it… I have kids that want different snacks and it should be a fun mix. If not, I’ll cancel. I buy other stuff from thatdailydeal and aside from being slow, I have been pretty happy with my purchases.

Any chance there is a way to sign up and mark that you don’t eat meat? I’d be sad to get a bunch of jerky snacks that I cannot eat.

Melissa,
I just got my box today. In the comment section I told them it was a vegetarian household and if they could help it, no meat please…there was none! I dont know if will always be lucky, but was this round!

this is very tempting for me I did watch the video he posted and I am not sure .
would like to see the actual box sent before buying.
I think a lot of the snack candy boxes are way over priced

Sara

Hmm sounds really interesting but $30 is way too high for snacks a month.

Anna

I’d be terrified to order a box of food from them but maybe some people love their food items.

This is noted as a disclaimer: “Please note, this box is an insanely good deal, so some best by dates could be just passed or about to pass or they could even have a year left on them. If you are a frugal shopper you understand that best by dates are arbitrary and the packaged foods we will be sending are perfectly fine after the best by dates” and notes a RV of $89.99… interesting…

Michelle

I saw that too and thought hmmmm telling you right off the bat the stuff might be expired.

Anna

This should be part of the box announcement. I wonder if they can find a way to send the Joy water filter as part of this box?

Hi Anna! That is included in the box description above. Thanks!
