I thought the curated box was only going to be a sample size of the beauty blender but it’s actually a regular sized beauty blender?! I’m disappointed. I was going to pick the curated box for that alone but I thought it would be a mini beauty blender. 😶

I can also confirm it is just a sample size. I sadly didn’t pay close enough attention when I chose the curated box and thought I was getting a full sized beauty blender (I wound’t have chosen based on the other products had I known). It’s not even like a mini blender really, just a sample piece of foam to see how it feels and grows with water. Needless to say, I’m pretty disappointed.

I think Hillary is right about the Beautyblender being a sample size, even though the Birchbox site shows a full-size picture. The customization video showed a sample size Beautyblender. My curated box is on the way and I should be able to confirm in a few days!

Oic. If it is the sample size I feel like it doesnt make sense to show a full one. Or maybe they gave them a full one for review purposes? But yes, thank you for a confirmation when you recieve it😊

I think it is? They always show the full-sized picture of what your getting, not the actual size.

Love the Beauty Protector brand, but I chose the curated box. I think Birchbox is undervalued, because they don’t wow. But I can honestly say some of my tried and trues have been discovered through them. The LOC shadow stick is phenomenal.

I chose the beauty protector because it is one of my faves. I am also getting the Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm (which I think the same as the nipple balm I just got from Ipsy, just repackaged with a new name, since the Dr. Lipp site literally sells only one product), the philosophy purity made simple moisturizer (not a fan of purity), the PEEK metalimatte blush, which I will enjoy trying …
And Oribe dry texturizing spray. Which is ridiculous when I’m also getting the beauty protector.
But at least no perfume this month.

This is the first time in a long time I’m actually happy with my box…other than 1 sample!
• Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray (my sample choice, I love this Ive used it a few times before)
• Balance Me Congested Skin Serum (I’ve gotten things from this brand before but this is one I’ve always wanted to try)
•Etat Libre d’Orange remarkable people eau de Parfum (I’m not liking getting ANOTHER perfume…I’ve gotten a fragrance every other month even though my profile says no perfume and I wish I could opt out, but because I like everything else it doesn’t make it so bad)
•Dr Jarr Cicapair Tiger Graaa Cream (I don’t remember where I tried this but I gave it away…I think I’ll try it more than once this time)
•PEEK Beauty Metalimatte Blush (never tried this! Looking forward to see what shade I get, since there are 3)
Overall, i am so happy with the 4 out of 5 products, I would really like to not get anymore fragrance since I get one in my Play box too …but not sure if that’s possible. This is probably the best box of the year for me

I am getting the beauty protect and detangle (my sample choice), Dr Jart ceramidin cream, the beauty blender, peek blush, beautaniq beauty glow serum and Amika shampoo and conditioner which I am sure will be foil packets since I have 5 other samples. Overall I am happy.

Not a bad month just bummed I’m receiving shampoo and conditioner for a second month.
