Limited Edition Burt’s Bees Spring 2018 Box FULL Spoilers!

I got my box yesterday and I love it. I think this is the 3rd box of theirs I’ve ordered over the years and I will continue to do so. You can get more value with the ipsys and beauty fixes but I have so much stuff that I don’t need to do that. I can choose to get a few boxes – like the independent beauty one and this one – and enjoy the products. Yes I could take the same amount of money and go to Target and pick products — but I don’t. I like getting surprises in the mail. I also only tend to buy products I know, so getting these assortments introduces me to new things.

I got my box and I love the lipstick. Everything was nice, but I don’t feel like I got a great deal or anything. Maybe i feel that way because I really didn’t need any of it.

The wipes are the same ones I hot in my Ricky’s Cult Crush for April. I used them1 time to remove my makeup and for the 2 days after I used them my eyes were red, swollen, irritated and painful. This was 5 days ago now and my right eye is still bothering me. If it doesn’t clear up by tomorrow I’ll have to see a doctor. Needless to say these are in the trash now. I don’t have particularly sensitive eyes or anything. These don’t have a great reputation to start with, but I never thought they’d be this bad. Also they smell so awful – like a cross between wet dog and stinky socks.

GTFOH 😂. At first I was like oooouh, Mother’s Day gift for mom! BUT then I saw price. The purpose of sub boxes (imo) is to feel – yay! Some overall cool stuff and at a fraction of the price! This is basically like giving the beauty product version of a grocery list to your friend- you’d have to want every single product enough to nearly pay full price, and just not feel like going to get it yourself

GTFOH. May as well go spend $50 on exact things you want- there is no yay! I saved money and got cool stuff value here, which is the point of sub boxes. This is like giving your beauty grocery list to someone -you’d have to really want every single product, anddddd not feel like going to the store yourself for it. Smh, they are fooling and I’m almost embarrassed for them

I don’t see how this is worth $50. Seems way too much for what you get.

If this were like $20 or even $30 I’d probably grab one but $50! I think not😕😒

On their site, they have a deluxe baby basket for $55. If you’re a first time customer, you can get free shipping by joining their mailing list. The metal basket and all the items included are mainly useful for anyone. All together, it looks like a better deal.

They should consider a slightly smaller box at a more friendly price point. I love Burt Bees, but I don’t need this much. And I certainly am not going to send them $50 a box.

Bummer. They have so many products too. Toners, lotions, shampoos… this is the best they could do?

I did a breakdown (as best I could, couldn’t find one product at all, and I think the seedles are freebies they ship with everything).

Total estimated at $84.25, which they have it as originally $90 on their website, so I would say this is close. This isn’t a terrible value, especially for the gel cream and the water.

All I wanted was the wipes. Don’t see the value anyways

I’d say a $30 box max (too me).

So happy I didn’t buy.. not seeing a $50 value
