Baby Gap just released a new subscription: their BedtimeBox! Like the regular outfit box, this one is quarterly, too.

Baby Gap BedtimeBox Spring 2018 Review

Every Baby Gap BedtimeBox comes with a packing slip and a pre-paid shipping envelope for returns.

There’s always a packing sheet showing my items, their retail prices, and “Your Price” for each item – the money I’d be refunded for returning each item.

The “My Prices” add up to $50, the cost of the box, so if you return an item, you get that amount refunded to you.

Skull Breakfast Sleep Set – Retail Value $26.95 (currently on sale for $19), My Price: $16.34

This is such a cute set – Gideon calls these his “breakfast pirate PJs.” I think the humor in it is cute, and the fit is perfect for my son. The fabric is cotton, so it’s soft and breathable, and the pants have an elastic waistband.

Grandpa just taught Gideon how to show his muscles, so that’s his new go-to pose when I take photos!

Shark Pizza Sleep Set – Retail Value $26.95 (currently on sale for $17), My Price: $16.33

I love this print. Gideon calls these his “pizza pants,” and I think they’re his favorite from this box! The style design is exactly the same as the first set, with the same soft cotton fabric and great fit.

(More muscles!)

Dino Sleep Set – Retail Value $26.95 (currently on sale for $17), My Price: $16.33

This set is, again, the same pajama design as the other two. Honestly, though, I don’t mind one bit because cotton long sleeves and pants are my favorite PJs for my kids. This one is a blue and green and grey dinosaur print with grey cuffs on the sleeves and pants.

These also fit well, but they may not look like it since this night, he wore an underlayer bodysuit and had pulled his sleeves up to wash his hands before bed and I forgot to adjust them back for the photo. They fit the same as the other two sets!

The Verdict: This is GAP’s first BedtimeBox! I love all things Baby Gap so I was really excited for them to add a pajama subscription. I’m not thrilled that I was sent sale items, just because it does affect the value of the box, but as far as the items themselves go, I’m really happy with the quality and fit.  I also really like the quarterly model for this box, because I always end up waiting until after Gideon’s pajamas just don’t fit anymore to actually go buy or order new ones. Having a subscription for this is one less thing for me to think about/keep track of.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, but your box contents vary depending on what you select as your child’s gender and age.

Value Breakdown: For $50, I got $80.85 retail value, but only $53 in retail value if you consider the current sale prices. That means I basically got $1/off each set with this box, which I’m not super happy about. For $50, I kind of wish there were 4 pajama sets in the box. That being said, the quality is really great for these pieces and I know we’ll get tons of wear from them – in fact, these three sets will probably end up being his regular rotation now.

He’s so cute in his pjs! Gap pjs are a fav for my 4yo – they have such fun graphics! But with the sales Gap has every single day odds are you can get a better price than this box offers and pick out the prints you prefer just by shopping online. Although, agree that the convenience of the box is great!

I was going to say the same thing. Gap has sale codes literally every day. And at least once a month you can get a 40% off one. Just yesterday I used a code to get 50% additional off of sale items. So if you didn’t calculate that in the values, your values could potentially be 50% lower.

Ok so I justify double checked. The 50% off code expired today but the 20% off code works. So for example those Dino pjs actually cost $13.60.

The pajamas are great, but I’m surprised they included all three sets with long sleeves and pants. I’d think with the approaching of summer , they’d have included more short sleeves/shorts sets, or at least have one or two of them in the box. Also, with the ongoing sale happening right now, where everything is 50% off, and you get to choose whatever style you want, this seems like an overpriced box just for 3 sets of pajamas.
