I love horror and would normally be into this, but it seems too childish. The pin and shirt are designed to look like they’re made for young teens into Plants vs Zombies, and their promo email said they’d send things like a plushie and Funko POP. As an adult, sometimes I’m into cute trinkets but certainly not related to horror. I’d be much more interested if they included horror novels, realistic looking figures, and items with adult/creepy looking designs. This misses the mark.

Comes out in October, but won’t actually ship until the end of December.

They are using the money from early sign ups to pay to get the current crates out the door.

This is such a bad idea. They can’t manage the lines they already have.

I just wish they’d resolve the current status of the existing subscriptions first (send people their March Crate where they had problem with the t-shirts, send out March Sanrio Crate (it’s already April 24 and still no shipping notification), send out LootVault orders, placed way back when, send out bundles that came with the order of March original Lootcrate) – that’s just to name a few issues…. When you ask them a question on Social media, they ask you to contact Customer Service. When you contact CS, they give you a very vague answers.
I really enjoy Lootcrate subs, and the items they send, but it’s just not a smooth transaction. Not at all. 🙁

The new Crate sounds fun and I’m sure horror-loving folks will enjoy it. But it seems really strange to burden yourself as a company with new obligations before resolving the existing matters.

Congrats to Loot Crate on the further compounding of their financial issues.
