I looked at another review that had links to the items (except for the bracelet). The cup and pens are from one of the brands in FFF (Sweet Water decor) so at least it’s a brand people have tried, and I think the cup is $20 and the pens are $17, so the RV is there even if it’s not an item you’re into. I’ll use both of those and the matcha stuff and break even w the value. Not excited, not annoyed, just feeling okay.

I wonder if this box is anyway connected to the mag where is the high end beauty or even hair care ? I think Cosmo and I think Beauty,Fashion, Jewelry hair and this is a huge let down glad I newer started I would be on Facebook asking if this is what Cosmo Mag reps now ?

Krista

Wow. Just wow. This is bad. Might be one of the worst boxes I have ever seen!! Especially for $20?!

These things are cute enough but I expect more sophistication from Cosmopolitan, plus the price is outrageous for what you’re getting.

Karen

Are they serious? They know darn well that they can come up with better boxes than the ones they have given us.

If Helen Gurley Brown were still alive and at the helm, here is how she would do it.
An educational pamphlet to inspire such as “How to starr your own business”.
Something to indulge like chocolate or a tempting treat.
The latest beauty item you can’t live without.
A bath or shower accessory for relaxation.
And a sex treat such as an organic lube.
Just sayin. Ha!

Oh my. This is truly disappointing. They put zero thought into making this product consistent with their brand.

I think the magazine now is geared towards college students. I have a subscription and it’s not the sophisticated tome it use to be. If you go to their website, it’s mostly celebrity stories. I think this box is in line with that. I don’t like it, but maybe a younger woman would.

Nicole

I’m a younger-ish woman and I do not like the boxes since the Feb box… 😂 I’ll be cancelling before my sub renews.

Holly

Odd. They must outsource the sub box to another random company. I agree with allllll the other comments about this not looking up to par with the connections a huge brand like Cosmo has. This kind of reminds me of the oreo sub box……underwhelmed….overvalued….and nothing special for the price point. Too bad.

Is this a late April Fools joke?

By the way that matcha tea is amazing, I enjoyed a cup when I reviewed a box, can’t remember which one I think Trendy Memo. I’m glad to get more packets!

I cancelled last month. Then I got a shipping notification yesterday. What??? I don’t think I was charged (let’s hope not, anyway!), but thank goodness I cancelled – this is GARBAGE. I am Canadian, and I am not even sure if this one is worth picking up at the place I pick up packages across the border, if it does eventually show up (I have to pay $3…lol).

This can’t be owned by the actual magazine. Cosmo is about journalism stories, beauty, and sex. A pen set?? Really?

Mel

HA HA HA! Are you kidding me? That’s some dollar store stuff in there. *snort*

Hard pass.

Anna

Not worth the price. I would expect a brand like Cosmo to be able to get better partnerships. Definitely nothing special in here compared to what you can get in other subs.

Am I the only one who thinks the gold business card holder looks exactly like the standard cheap “purse” barbies came with in the 90s? Lol

Oh my god, so much!

Omg, yes!!! hahaha

I was told I was a “tough customer” by their customer service when I emailed to ask why the boxes hadn’t shipped by the 20th as the March email had said and why they didn’t proactively email subscribers to let them know that they would not be making their 20th ship date. They said that they were not charging for shipping this month because of the delay (again, it would have been nice to tell people this). They did say that the May box will be contain the Cosmo beauty award winners.

Bonnie

That makes me feel a little better…I was thinking that this box should always have SOME beauty in it.

Nich

Thanks, for the update from customer service! I emailed about billing since I thought I would be billed on the the 6th of every month and I’m being billed at the end of the month, since my box was shipped. I already have that business card holder from a previous box, if it’s the same brand. I was going to go spoiler free for this month’s box and it didn’t happen🤷🏾‍♀️. I still have faith they will get their act together!

Maybe this is geared for college students. It really seems that they haven’t decided who their target demographic is.

This box reminds me of bless box, all over the place and once I feel like I want it I see the next months and never get it bc one will be good and the others will be boring. Definitely doesn’t scream cosmo tho.

Reply ButtonReply

katie

I like the fact that each box seems so different but it really doesn’t scream “Cosmo” to me. I want to subscribe but then in this box all I see me using is the pen set.

Reply ButtonReply

Ana

This box feels all over the place for me, one month is spongelle, the other tea and this one a cup and pens. Very baffled, and I purchased a 6 month sub. Hoping this turns around quickly.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

This is such a pathetic box! Seriously – If you got the box and it didn’t have a label on it, would you ever guess that it was related to Cosmo? I wouldn’t — never in a million years. The only thing more absurd is the price.

Sami

What material is the mug made?

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

Interesting box, but seems to be missing “something”, especially at this price point. There’s no main item. Maybe needs a beauty item (helllooo COSMO) or a luxury candle/spa item. Just not the value expected for a $26 box. I’ll keep my eye on it it for future improvements.
