Call them and tell them that. Apparently I’m not the only one that has called in about this. I was asking why I haven’t been billed yet and why the variations. We pay 10% taxes where we live and not all subs charge that. I’m used to state taxes not state and local on a sub because you don’t have offices locally, I question that. I was willing to pay it quietly but not anymore. With these ever changing box variations and then ending up with stuff you can’t use, it’s no longer worth it. The whole no variation thing WAS the best thing about the Allure Beauty Box. Funny, I checked my account about an hour later, charged. It was interesting to hear that we as customers seem to know more about what’s going on than the CSR’s do. I suggested they give this info to the powers that be. Also, have them check out what subscribers are saying on sights like this one.

I finally got thru to Customer Service on the phone today. 1st there is a recording offering you the option to email instead of waiting on hold. I have not gotten a response via email so I waited almost 20 minutes on hold. The CS reps have less information than we do. They can’t see anything regarding emails. This CSR said that they have been overwhelmed with new subscribers and complaints regarding box variations. New subscribers are getting billed first etc? Really? Wooooow…. I gotta say, it’s refr to talk with an honest CSR. I’m normally billed by now. If you are still waiting to be billed, call them, they can put it through. Now I wait for the box.

Wth? A self tanner and another “tanner” product? That stuff will sweat off!!! Why do subs send tanner in the summer? It’s winter that we need it. Allure used to be the best. So going down hill. ISO of a replacement.

I use the self tanners in the summer a few days before I go tanning so I’m it ghost white at the pool or the beach. I think this is a great timing and I can’t wait!!

I’m hoping for the bronzing water mousse….have never used this type, looks interesting. And CLE products are lovely. Also, I haven’t been charged for my April box yet 🙁

Bleah, self-tanner. Sephora usually throws this into their Sun Safety Kit, and the sizes are pretty generous, but I don’t use it.

St. Tropez is a high-end self tanner, ladies. It’s not a tanner from the drugstore. lol I used it for my brother’s wedding a few years ago and it looked beautiful! My skin tone is “light”.

I just got my April box today.. I got box 2 but instead of the Makeup Eraser, I got a big pink ” Wet Brush”.
NO brochure in the box at all. It’s pretty obvious they simply substituted a small brush for the Makeup Eraser item and took the April brochure out of their box before mailing it. Like I wouldn’t know?
I am starting not to trust these people.. Oh, and the other items? Teeny tiny except for the normal sized Nudestix.

Be glad for the replacement I own both products the wet brush is the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion. The makeup eraser is yawnnnnn, I didn’t care for it

I have other brands of the makeup erasers, and I use them with eye makeup remover. They are reducing my cotton round usuage, so I do like them. I have 4 already. So, I am hoping for that brush as long as it stays folded out. It really is a great brush and mine from last year is looking yucky from styling product. A year or so ago they sent out the medium size one, and my teenage son claimed it and lost it😡. Both teen boys got wet brushes in their stockings. My 8yo has had hers for a few years and loved it for all her tangles.

I was debating on whether to let April or May be my last box before taking a break until later this year, and after seeing the spoilers, April it is. So far all of the items I’ve seen spoiled for May would be gifted. While I can’t recall what’s supposed to be in the April box, I do know I wasn’t disappointed in it, so at least my sub will go out on a good note.

These self tanners are of no use to women of color…they should make these boxes more applicable to all women. I’m not happy that I’ll be receiving one of those.

Agreed, and I’m “light skinned” .. I wish that there was a way to customize preferences for POC because the pale lipsticks, tannners, etc.. don’t always work for me

The CLE is great! It is a powder and melts into lipstick on your lips. I use it all the time!

This for some reason doesn’t excite me at all 😕 I’m Latina so that’s prob the reason. I’ve never used tanning products for my body. But I love allure so I’m sure there’s gonna be good stuff in this box 😍

I am a pasty white, and I am not excited…. The last time I tried a gradual tanner for the shower (jergens?) I was streaky for days….

Yeah, unfortunately that happened to me as well. Even the lightest shade left me orangey (not to mention, that stuff stiiiiinks). But this gloss isn’t a self-tanner, nor do you need to be tan to use it. It does have a small amt of bronzer in it, but it’s a lot more concentrated-looking in the tube. Once you smooth it on, it has more of a “hey, look at my shiny legs” effect.

You should hope for the finishing gloss then…it’s for people who already have some tan goin on, and it leaves a nice glow, though I don’t think it absorbed completely when I used it before.
Anywho, I googled Elnett, and all that comes up is a L’Oreal hairspray, so I guess that’s in the May box.
