We have the spoilers for the Julep Maven April collection! (This collection will be available on the 20th.)

There’s joy to be found in indulgence, and the April collection goes all in on the “treat yourself” mode of self-care. Because who doesn’t love—and deserve—a little sweetness every now and then?

One of our favorite yummy creations is back with a new & improved recipe. It’s Way Butter. Really! And it’s a real treat.

Our super sweet new polishes are sure to push some candy buttons too.

So go for a sugar spin this month because indulging in something sweet doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure.

Here are all the new polish colors:

And here are the new beauty items:

The best treats are as nourishing as they are delicious. Our delightful Way ButterHydrating Lip Sheer marries color and care in a creamy dream of a tinted lip butter in 8 mouthwatering shades.

Packed with softening Shea Butter and a delectable blend of emollient, antioxidant-rich oils, Way Butter is a treat that treats. With moisturizing Broccoli Seed Oil, collagen-promoting Black Currant Seed Oil, and protective Kahai Oil, it’s like a superfood for your lips—a vanilla-flavored one!

Looking good and feeling good is just a smooth swipe of sheer color away.

Candy Coating

A drizzle of caramel, a dunk in melted chocolate, a strawberry glaze—an extra coating of sugar can tie a whole dessert together. These new polishes make any mani extra sweet.
Flat White Nail Tape

Build a layer cake with Shenae (It Girl) and Maribel (Wonder Maven).

So I’ve really been considering signing up just to get the 12 pc set with my first box and would probably want to cancel after that… Is that a thing they do? I noticed the “ease of cancellation” category has a low score – anybody know why?

I wish they put names on these spoilers!!

I’ve skipped the last two months because I found them boring, so I’m extra excited to see a collection that couldn’t be any more up my alley. I’m going to have trouble picking shades this month, for both nails and lips. So many good ones!

I like that polish collection!

I’m glad they mentioned the vanilla flavor of the lip sheer. I now know to skip that product.

The photo they show is click bait. I thought the same thing. The colors they send aren’t nearly represented. I’m giving my subscription a fair shake trial for 6 months, nonetheless. So far I’m not impressed. The Polish is gluepy and hard to work with. For a positive comment, I must say their packaging is lovely. Only 8 cc’s per bottle. Fantastic small footprint, I know any space I have in my apartment is valuable. The bottles store nicely and are easy to see when laying them flat. I had received some of their make up products in other beauty boxes. Nothing has really wowed me yet, but I still want to be fair and try some more months. I am truly very easy to please. When I get my Allure box, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I literally yell out loud “are you kidding me!!” I’m so surprised, elated and psyched they put “x” item in my box. I’ve never been let down by Allure.
Back to Julep conversation. I’ll probably choose my own box this month, of course depending what is shown. I think this company has put a lot of thought into their business plan, getting customers, keeping customers. They don’t feel scamy and just out for themselves. That goes a long way with me. Another reason to stay on-board for some more Julep beautification.

I am a sheer lippie FANATIC, and I’m already lusting over Crimson and Sangria! I wonder if the box will just be two lippies, or something more? Two more days until I find out!

I’m loving the look of the lip sheers, and I’m excited that this will be my first Maven box. Got the free 12-polish welcome set and was happy that the colors I got were different from the promo pick.

I am excited about those polish colors. (I don’t care so much about “sheer” anything for my lips, though. But I would happily take several polishes.)

I’m a little perplexed 🤔 is the free box the set of nail polishes or is it supposed to be a free

extra actual box 🙃

Gypsy

I know right, me too! Because it says double deal- Free Box Coupon and 12 free nail polishes – I and then it keeps telling you to add more for free and it just gets confusing. I just want thee free box to try, does anyone have that code? I will try it, worst thing is it says not valid. I just want to try the box, although the free polish looks tempting I have to check it out.

When I joined there were two different promo codes – one for a free box or one for the 12 polishes. You could only get one or the other, not both. Right now I only see the offer for the 12 polishes so it looks like the 12 polishes might be the only free box offer right now.

I found that confusing as well. I received the 12 polishes free, no extra actual box of different items.

Hi. I just started Julep. How many items do we get to choose for our box?

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

It depends on the cost of the items. I usually get a 4 item box that consists of 3 polishes and some stickers. Pick some of the pricier lip or face products, you might only get three items total.

Jen

Thanks for responding, Kelly. I’m really impatient to get my first box! Thanks again.

Heather

I want ALL the things!

I am so happy they extended their lip sheer line! They had that a few years back and I love them. I’m not sure if they changed their formula at all but they had pretty remarkable coverage in the past.

I’m bummed that I spent all of my Jules a couple months ago…i really want to buy basically the whole collection this month

Jenn

I loved them last time too. I think they changed it this time around to take out the SPF factor though – I think it caused too many problems with international sales…

Lesly

Excited about the lip sheers! Loved the one I got last year.

I was hoping to skip this month – not going to happen now, i love the spring colors of nail polish.

Oh my goodness I am DROOLING over those nail colors!! I am soooo glad I skipped some winter boxes that had boring (to me) colors. I like some of those lippies too. This might end up being a month that I will have some add-ons. That’s what credit cards* are for, right? (*Always enjoy credit responsibly)
