Winter was by far my favorite box and according to my credit card statement had the best add ons too!!! I’ve only been getting FFF for a year but I look forward to many more years of fun treats. I hope they do the sponsored items again in add ons. I loved the Digestive Advantage probiotics and bought 5 bags after trying them.

I’m reviewing all four boxes and I will say I really loved the Fall 2017 box, but when it comes down to which box I got the most use out of it was the Winter 2017. So my #1 would have to be Winter 2017. Funny cause last year my least fav was Winter 2016, though I did use every item from that box to.

Fav item for 2017, no question– if it has Juice beauty on the label– I’m all in.. lol.

Spring box Juice beauty eye cream. Every 2017 box had excellent items. But Juice Beauty is my Jamm.

Loved the Fall Box – the MerSea wrap is perfect for traveling (Makes a fabulous pillow!!), and it has the most items that I will use regularly.

I can’t belive how much I used every box. I can’t even pic a favorite. I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings!

…the winter box was outstanding though.

Spring was my all time fave then Winter and fall last. Not a big fan of the summer box unfortunately! But I still love fff especially the add ons.

LisaMarie

Definitely winter is the winner in this household.

Definitely winter and spring!!!

Spring box was my favorite! I think it’s because it has been my first FFF box ever. I loved the colors of the items, how luxurious beauty items felt and the variety of the products.

Peggy

Without question, the winter box! It was such a win win (especially with CHOICE options) that I bought a second box. Hard to choose a fave item, but I really loved the mug & socks.

Winter box for sure!!

I also loved the winter box overall, but favorite items would be the wrap and the glass bottle fromthe summer box.

Could some of you tell me how you display/ use/ store the Himalayan Salt Kit? I am leery of leaving huge blocks of salt on the kitchen counter, even on the wooden base.. I also don’t want to put it into one of my kitchen’s bins or drawers for the same reason. Mine’s still in the original box because I just don’t know how to make it look nice and keep it edible and clean.
TIA : )

Robin

I use mine on special occasions. I keep the salt blocks in a zip lock bag.

I have a question first- I have the Himalayan Salt kit with the metal scraper and the wood block. But, I don’t think it’s sanitary to have salt sitting out on a kitchen cabinet or in a drawer, either. What do the rest of you who have this item cover it with?
TIA!!

I liked all the boxes this year. As with any seasonal box containing as many items as FFF sends, there are going to be hits and misses..
Here’s what I especially liked, and one or two items which are always ” misses” for me and I am hoping not to get them in ’18 boxes!

Spring and Summer- In no particular order, there are some things which make the box purchases and unpacking fun and ” fab” for me, I think. I like my pouches. I have ” Beach Please”, which I really like, and ” Slay All Day” which is kind of “unusual” for me personally, but I like the pouch itself . I use mine in tote bags for general storage of categories of items in my bag because we have our own pool, and my luggage collection has a great ” wet/ dirty laundry” built in storage system section in the major pieces. I also like the Michael Stars ruanas. I have the blue one and the black tie dye one. LOVE the face masks by Karuna. Always up for moisturizing good quality face masks.

The really weird thing for me is that I live in a very mild climate part of the country and as far as usefulness, the Spring and Summer boxes of ALL subscriptions should be the ones I ” go to” overwhelmingly. However, I am almost dis-interested in boxes containing sun products, and especially intensely dislike and will not use beachy hair wave sprays, face bronzers, and dry shampoo.
Thus, my favorite boxes, FFF and other subs, and the LE/ SE boxes are the Fall and Winter seasonal themed boxes..

FALL- I love the art design of the box ( shallow, I know, but I mailed my mother’s birthday present in it, it was so pretty).
I especially like the ACV shampoo/ rinse, the blush knitted cap ( they sent me both colors of the hat and the belt), both of the belts work with my Boho style ( I swear I just typed ” Hobo”).

WINTER BOX– I LOVE the Ahava hand cream- it’s my favorite hand cream normally but I usually end up using whatever is handy from a sub box.. The super size is fantastic of them to make for FFF subscribers. : ).

I love the socks. My blue- teal ones kind of coordinate with my teal scarf from the Fall box, although I just wear the socks around the house.
I am able to use the ExfoliKate, even with sensitive skin. I just don’t use it as often as a younger lady can.
I think the gold necklace is classy and fun, but I’ve developed a sensitivity to something in the base metals of non- precious jewelry. This is a new thing for me and I’m hoping it goes away because I can’t have fashionable jewelry in all 18 kt. or Platinum. I’m not a Rockefeller and didn’t win either lottery this week, ha.

Adore the eye palette I chose- ( I think it’s called ” smoky”- the one with mostly icy purple and gray colors.) I took out the icy blue and silver from a smaller FFF Doucce palette in an Editor’s Box from the summer, I think, and put them in where the brown toned shadows had been.. Now, it has all the colors I use if I use eye makeup.

Sorry this is long. I think FFF boxes are like great big treasure chests when they arrive.. a little of this, a bit of that, and overall, fun.
I would nominate the ” Art Kit” for the sub box Hall Of Shame, though. I’m not in the stage of life to have children or grandchildren or friends with children young enough to play with something like that, if I was brave enough to give it to someone else, as much as I disliked it.
I think it was a rare ” total fail” for FFF, for me, anyway. That’s saying a lot, as I’ve subbed to most of the lifestyle boxes reviewed here from their beginnings.

This was fun and relatable to read. I loved the ruana and pouch but I’m currently so cozy in my scarf and socks.

I’m so happy I did t choose whatever option included the art kit. I have no use for it and no one to gift it to.

I love my blue winter mug too.

I hope your metal sensitivity clears up asap. I wear so much jewelry from my sub boxes and I they are really pretty. I could never afford my jewelry collection in real gold either 😊

Thank you so much. 🙂 I have some sort of special thrill going with FFF boxes. The fun level is always there!! I’ve always wanted a personal friend who is also into subscription boxes, but haven’t found anyone here who talks about getting them, so I come here and just chat about my boxes sometimes. : )

I THINK I’m probably using some body moisturizing products, either a lotion or an oil, which is causing some interactions with the metals.
So, I’m cutting way back on use in the neck/ chest area, as it’s mostly necklaces affecting my skin, and right now am wearing ” the good jewelry”. : ).

I just joined in the fall and I’m so glad I found fff. I love the forums and all the people I’ve met more than the products I think!! But, that’s hard because I love my boxes and don’t even get me started on the add ons. I would have to say I probably liked the fall box better though. I wear the beanie all the time and loved the rinse. I used everything in that box! I wanted to love the poncho but it just doesn’t look right on me. I received 2 and tried one on and washed it because of chemical smell or I’d swap it. But ❤️ fff!

Winter! I use or will use ALL these items. I usually have to give away products because
I can’t use them (especially hair products. The other boxes have one or two favorites: Spring–the bracelet, Summer –water bottle, Fall–jewelry holder.

I was very pleased with all of my boxes last year. I didn’t purchased the summer box,if I must choose,I’d say Winter,Spring and Fall! FFF,does an awesome job, curating, the items that goes in to these boxes.I’m never disappointed!

Slynne

I liked Fall for the cozy scarf and ACV rinse and Winter for the poncho and the cool mug and socks. Winter may have been slightly more a favorite. I enjoyed all the boxes, though, and definitely felt that I got a lot for my $50!

Shauna

I loved every box because they do such a great seasonal curation. Summer is my fav season so the summer box was my favorite. I loved the Ruana!!

Reply ButtonReply

Kathy Stone

Summer. It was exactly what I wanted.

Sheri

I loved the Spring and winter boxes the most. I wear the poncho/wrap every day from the winter box and even purchased one for my daughter.

Jen

Looks like I’m in the minority but my fave is definitely Summer! I love the ruana, sunscreen, highlighter, and eye serum. I even bought a second ruana – I have the black/white and the tan one and love them both.

Second place is winter – the poncho is lovely and I also like the necklace, socks, and hand cream. I’ll be gifting the palette to my sister and may give her the Exfolikate too because I have a deluxe sample of it that I’ms till making my way through.

My favorite boxes were Fall and Winter although I really did love all of them!!!!! SO hard to choose! I would have to say my favorite item was the MerSea wrap scarf followed closely by the BKR water bottle, the poncho, aloe infused socks, Whish Mud Mask, Pillow Sleep Spray and big coffee mug. I am a HUGE FFF fan!!!

There was highlights in every box. But the one that I loved the most stuff in of course was the winter 2017!!! Loved it.

SPRING the best and then WINTER, then FALL (I was bored with Summer box, too many repeat items from other boxes highlighter, dry shamp, etc…). From SPRING, i loved the beach roundie, beach pouch, the vitamins and Dr. Brandt microderm scrub. FALL I loved the vinegar hair rinse the best and the pink lip stick! This winter i loved the gold eye shadow palette, pillow spray, Ahava lotion, Exfolikate, and the eye patches are pretty cool.

Winter and fall are tied for me, in that I have things from both that I use all the time now (winter – socks and Ahava lotion, fall – whish mask, Tagalong hot/cold pack). The only consistent disappointment for me with FFF in terms of box cpntent is that the jewelry is downright shoddy. It isn’t my style, so this is not too big a deal for me personally.
