Luxe Provence Box Spring 2018 Parcel Spoiler + Available for Pre-Order!

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

The Spring 2018 Luxe Provence box is available for pre-order now! And we have a spoiler for the box!

The theme for Spring 2018 is Art de la Table:

The art of the table has always been an important part of French culture and tradition over the centuries. The art of the table, translates into the atmosphere in which meals are held, the manner in which they were taken and served, often including: the table service, porcelain or ceramics, serving pieces, glassware and table linens.

Each box will include a piece from:

This March, discover the French Art de la Table featuring Artisan of Provence, Valerie Casado, a talented ceramicist in Isle sur la Sorgue. A selection of her beautiful terre rouge pieces will be inside each box, paired with beautiful French design items to inject the beauty of springtime in Provence to your table.

Each of Valérie’s pieces is formed organically by hand, impressing vintage objects, lace, parsley, buttercups and wildflowers to form beautiful, unique patterns. Created from either porcelain, or terre rouge clay, each of Valérie Casado’s pieces bring a touch of modern whimsy and French charm into your home.

What do you think of the theme?

If you aren’t familiar with Luxe Provence, it is a quarterly subscription from France and it is now $265 a box (includes free shipping to US)

  1. I am very pleased that I signed up for an annual. Everything I have received has been top quality and I am at a point in my subscription addiction that quality is more important to me then quantity. Customer service has been excellent and feel that finding unique artists makes this box really special for me.

  2. It looks like spoiler is available at ABC Home for $75. I have to say I’m not super thrilled with this box. The last box the earrings were pretty, but you could buy them direct and say $50 on box price. And I can buy real gold earrings for the same price. For a subscription that is the cost of flying to France, I would expect it to be really brimming with things I could only get in Provence.

    • I agree … I googled her right away and there are a lot of pieces for sale at ABC. I was so disappointed in the Hape scarf I traded fro from another box … it had their LOGO stamped on it. And it’s big. I’ll have to have it cut and hemmed.

    • You can fly to France for $265?!? Where do you live? We’re happy when we see prices go under $1k

    • Hi Jules,

Where did you get the pricing and spoiler info? The details have not yet been announced yet. I just sent them a message and customer service said this season will feature a two piece set.

      Thanks!

    • Thank you!

  3. I think they normally have 5ish items per box? It’s also not really a high RV to subscription cost ratio sort of box though. The spoiler is usually the bulk of the RV.

I think if you really like the spoiler then you should consider buying the box. For example, I really liked the so-and-so jewelry spoiled for the last box (they didn’t say earrings specifically but it was in the picture). In addition to the earrings, I got some hand lotion, hair conditioning spray, almond paste cookies and a small bar of olive oil soap. If I hadn’t really wanted the earrings then I would have been very disappointed with the box.

    Hope that helps.

  4. I went back and read your reviews. I are not overly impressed with what I saw. I am sure the quality is there but their choice of items is just so so. What works well for me since I couldn’t afford the box anyway.

  5. I wish MSA could get a box and review it early. There hasn’t been a review since 2016.. I need to know if they are putting as many ” lavender herbal” things in ( I know, so symbolic of Provence) but I am allergic to lavender. I’m happy for those who aren’t, but a lot of ladies are.

I guess my concern is ” How much variety is there per seasonal box?”

    • I’m allergic to lavender too! And that stuff has been everywhere and no one believes me because the whole world is obsessed with lavender these days. I do like the smell but it gives me terrible headaches 🙁 i feel ya

    • FYI!!! This box came with an incredibly fragrant bouquet of dried lavender. I love it…but you would not if you were allergic.
