Ipsy January 2018 SPOILERS Round #3

My bags have been awesome lately 🙂
This month I’m getting
-Absolute New York Single Shadow in VIP or Posse
-Lue by Jean Seo Balance Hydrating and Calming Serum
-Kokie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Desire
-The Balm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer
-SLMISSGLAM Tapered Highlight Brush

I know everyone complains about the size of the balm samples but I love them because I usually fill each bag with items to create a full look !

Are they seriously giving out a brush set? Is that correct?

The majority of the six in getting is not up there which like I’ve said the last couple of months leafs me to believe in getting the scraps.

~Void polish in a berry color which I don’t have marked on my profile bc I don’t wear those colors.
Purlisse Blue Lotus Mud Mask…. Have it
The Balm highlighter… I have a drawer full of highlighters, again not picked on my profile.
Kokie liquid lipstick, I hope it’s not matte. I hope I can wear the color, I’m getting into lips, so I’m excited about this.

So I’ll be swapping some things lol

Ugh. I just checked on my bag and I got tweezers. Boooooo. I’m not an eyebrow girl so that stinks I’m getting something I won’t use at all. I’m also getting
Oribe Dry Shampoo
Trust Fund Beauty Lip Scrub (I got the lip scrub last month so I’m a little annoyed with this)
Nudestix
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

I was really hoping for the eye cream. Darn! Oh well. Maybe someone will want to swap for the tweezers. 😉

I cheated and looked at my bag.

I’m getting the following:

— I kinda like the bag….It’s funky, but those are usually the ones that I like better IRL.

— Ciate London eyeliner ….. just in time as I’m in need of a good eyeliner.

— Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream …… Excited to try this….

— Purlisse Beauty Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant ….. Not usually a fan of mud masks, but always need an exfoliant

— City Color Cosmetics Contour Pallette…. Excited to try this and thankful that it wasn’t another eyeshadow….

— Hola Neon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in DF…… I think this will be a good color for me…..

Overall, I’m pretty happy with my bag this month!!!!!

Was just able to see mine. I got 2 products shown here, the Briogeo charcoal shampoo and the Dirty Little secret eyeshadow. My other 3 aren’t listed here and are Void nail polish in Mauvelous, Cake beauty body balm, and NYX lip lingerie in either beauty mark or satin ribbon ( brown or browner😕). Not bad overall!

I just went onto the website and mine is showing. I’m getting the following:

This is what I am seeing on my account. Umm it is 1/4 Ipsy.

I would be happy with every single item, except dry shampoo or contour pallet. So excited to find out tomorrow what I am getting.
Ipsy such an exciting sub, even I have crates of make up and skincare, I just cannot let go of curiosity of Ipsy bag and five random unneeded items every months.

I want those brushes so badly that I am certain I won’t get them.

I wonder if it’s individual brushes or a whole set like pictured.

Le sigh* 😔

I LOVE the bag and I really really really want/need the mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ brushes oh my love love them!!!! 😩

I’m not entirely sure why, but if there is a glaringly ugly lip color it always ends up in my bag…6 cute options and I always score the day glo fuchsia that nobody would be caught dead in. And an eyeliner.

Fingers crossed for the Briogeo Scalp Revial and the SLGlam Mermaid Brushes! If my bag contains either (or both) of those products, they could substitute the last 3 products with leftover Christmas tinsel and I wouldn’t care 🙂

Wait a sec – a whole brush set??? they are worth 80$! :O

I wish ipsy would start releasing spoilers earlier. I decided to skip January because my last couple bags have been kinda mediocre, but there are some cool products in this list. I’d love to try the Seraphine Botanicals lip stain. Chances are I wouldn’t have gotten it anyway sooo… maybe I made the right choice skipping. I may try my luck next month.

There’s a lot of great stuff this month 😊 ❤️ 🤞 several of them I’d love to try this month so I can’t wait to see what I’m going to get this month either! Fingers crossed 🤞 for the oribe dry spray, the sheet mask, and the Briogeo scalp renewal… We shall see ❤️

I do not regret my decision to skip. I only like a few lipsticks and 1 eye shadow. I already got contour palette and did not want to get it again . Tweezers are another option this month and I would have hated that. I hope February is better it is my birthday month.

I got an email from Ipsy asking if I want to see what is in my bag but the link just takes me to the main page and it says to check back on Jan 4th to see what’s in my bag. Has anyone else been able to see what’s in their bag?

Wow. Several great options! I’m not a big fan of the bag, but that’s okay! I’ve loved most of them recently. Can’t wait to see what they select for me!
