I am also disappointed in the box for the last while and was only sticking it out for Mal (and the multiple month sub I purchased pre-disillusionment). I am also sad they don’t have a way to get Kaylee. I didn’t know about the box until the second box (actually may have been thirf now that I think of it) and Kaylee is my favorite. I have all of the figures except her 🙁

Plus its a lot of money for a bunch of stuff I don’t usually want. I’ve been disappointed in the quality of the shirts. I wore one of the shirts three times and it already has a hole in it.

The Little Damn Heroes Master line is finished? So what ever happened to them releasing Mal? The Little Damn Heroes was the only reason I continued my subscription. After the Badger theme, I was finally frustrated enough to cancel.

I did the same thing. Who wanted badger for crying out loud. My lil figure came with a broken off head too. I cancelled within 10 minutes of opening that stupid crate!

Mal is in the (nominally of course, and already notified as late) January Cargo Crate. My Subscription Addiction listed the spoiler way back in early November so you would think LootCrate should be able to get it out in time, but no…

Sadly, and maybe (fingers crossed) it’s just the angle of the photo, but Mal’s head doesn’t really look right – they’re not supposed to be a big-head figure line after all. Then again, Inara’s face was really poorly painted too, so although the figures have maintained their quality in the body and pose details for mine, I can’t say the same about these last couple of faces (makes me sad). Might just be me being nit-picky, but I did see another comment of similar feeling to the Inara figure, so maybe not just me after all.

My Inara figure’s face was way off too. I’ve enjoyed most of the other stuff in the crates so far, except Badger’s was disappointing… and hate that they are always late now. I won’t do a year subscription again, but maybe per month if they give more details before each crate… we’ll see.

Sadly, that’s not even really a spoiler… “Still flying”? (I guess at this point in the life of Loot Crate in general, that’s very Firefly in itself), and there’s been a t-shirt in every box since the second one. Like others, I have really enjoyed many of the products in every Cargo Crate (that Blue Sun sleeveless has actually been ideal for our killer Oz summer), but now that the Little Damn Heroes Master line has presumably finished (I really hope they’re not going to add in more secondary characters – while Saff and Badger were fun and recurring characters, any others would have to pretty much be one-offs and/or… Niska? Please don’t do Niska – he’s just evil and has no charm (although he was a great adversary in War Stories, I don’t want his badness fouling up my house full-time!), I think they may be grasping for a new line of “hero” items.

I’m also a bit like Jeremy above – paid for a year-long sub a few crates in, and thinking I will have to check now whether I’ve received six on that sub before I cancelled and went back to the single crate sub because the service and shipping problems have been so bad for so long now. I really shouldn’t have to feel I need to do that.

Yeah they’re from the movie but Fante and Mingo would be cool – Mr Universe or “the operative” as well.

As for the crates themselvest… the shirts have for the most part been highly disappointing. I would have rather had the art from the stickers put onto most of the shirts. The laser gun was boring, the Faces of Wash is just too childish looking the one from the badger box is hilariously ironic – “real crooks wear suits” but i’m going to wear a Tshirt that looks like it was designed by a child. The only ones that really stand out to me are the glow in the dark Fruity Oaty Bar octopus, the Jayne replica even though the collar wasn’t right, the one from the Inara box and the one from Zoe’s box even though I don’t fully get the reference.

The flash cards are a damn joke. Instead of wasting a destination sticker on the outside of the box put the second one inside, maybe? Some better diversity of content… Hats? Belt buckles? Art/Coffee table books? Socks? coloring books? The pocket watch was a nice touch… maybe do a series? Custom dice! A series of challenge coins. Some replica republic credits! It’s not hard to come up with cool stuff to brand.

I agree…the theme seems random and like they also don’t know where they are going with it. Maybe they are waiting to see how many subscribers they have left after everyone that was waiting for Mal cancels?

You have to wonder what’s going on with Lootcrate as a company. I love their crates but I can’t remember the last time I got one on time – Firefly is so far behind at this point I’m not even sure if I’m getting the full 6 from the year-long subscription I paid for.

So hoping they do not fold before I complete my collection. The delays in shipping and fewer products in the boxes is so un-nerving.

I’m so cynical about LootCrate these days… I wonder if they’re not putting forth any spoilers because they’ve been so behind & they don’t know if what they have planned will be ready on time.
