Yeah, worst secret store ever 😒 they should have kept their gimmicky deceptive 50% coupon and at least offered a decent selection.

The coupon code FUNDAY does not work on everything – only on the items on the web page you linked to for the secret store. Oh well.

Looking at the prices, they seem increased compared to what they usually are in the SS. So, the 50% off discount doesn’t look as good as I thought.

Maybe I’m just imagining things?

That was my exact thought as soon as I saw the prices – the 50% off is a sham. They raised the prices just so they could lower them that much. I’m really astonished. I’ve previously had great experiences with Julep but this is really sleazy.

Agreed! Total sleeze bag practices! Pretty surprised being that I really like the owner so much, I thought she was better than these types of deceptions against monthly subscribers!!

No, you are correct. The prices on sets are double what they were prior to today, so the 50% off coupon just brings it back down to their regular price. Deceptive practices like this really piss me off and after making me consider canceling my Julep subscription.

It’s terrible. Most retailers do it these days, which is why you have to stay aware of the companies pricing of items and preferably do business with companies that have generous price adjustment policies. I use Target’s A LOT. Costco’s is excellent. Obviously, these subscription deals can be smaller businesses that perhaps can’t afford that, but did Julep honestly think subscribers wouldn’t notice? I canceled my account months ago, but I still check out their sales from time to time. I noticed they raised prices on add-on items, as well.
