I liked last years mirror gift and still use it. Don’t need another eyelash curler though. I am liking the curated boxes lately, so I often pick one sample and get four surprises and then buy the curated box separately. I have way too many mascaras though, so it might be the only reason why I skip the curated box.

Yes.. I recently resubscribed and they charged me $15 instead of $10. Contacted them and they refunded the $5. But I have yet to receive my November box… Says it shipped almost 2 weeks ago. I just don’t know…

I needed a new eyelash curler so this makes it a perfect box! Those that have never used one once you start you will love them and will always use. Curl before mascara. Many people make the mistake of putting mascara on first which sticks to the curler and rips out your lashes. You will love the look when you get used to doing them. Don’t give up so worth it!!

I’ve just been consistently impressed by the curated boxes. I always wanna go for the surprises but then I see the curated box and it throws me off! I might have to get an extra sub or something.

If you do nothing you will get a box supposedly tailored to you (from your profile). It may usually contain one of the samples and possibly two, but maybe not. You will get 5 samples, plus the gift, like everyone else. Everything will be a surprise.

I’m definitely getting the curated box. All of those samples look interesting. Except the eyelash curler; I’m just too uncoordinated. I’d probably manage to pull all my lashes out, or worse!

I’m considering it! I love davines but it is too expensive so I always welcome samples. I have short hair so those little bottles go a surprisingly long way. And I’ve already received that mac mascara in a previous box.

Ugggh. They reeled me back in (after almost a year). The curated box actually fits me very well (for once), the lash curler is a great bonus and the free Smith & Cult lip stain was the kicker. The only downside is that it sounds like I “have” to get the November box so I hope it’s not a box of random tiny stuff that doesn’t fit my profile again…that’s why I quit in the first place.

This curated box looks perfect for me. I cannot wait….the choices look really good to me, love the curated box, and I don’t have an eyelash curler so that’s a nice extra. I really hope this trend continues for Birchbox! I recently re-subscribed and so far I am pleased!!

Do you know how many times I have canceled this sub but I haven’t missed a box since the summer. I try not to give in to them. I really need a new eye leash curler! Temptation, evil doers have got me again… Interested in the prep and go sheets and I’m a mascara junkie. I have the potential of 2!

Oh, the mirror was a last year’s gift from Birchbox. It was super cheap and came to me cracked. 😀

I want to try the Sunday Riley flash serum but I think I’ll try and swap for instead as the curated box looks pretty good. I also don’t have an eyelash curler (they intimidate me) but I am happy to receive one to test out.

@Carolann – you might want to try a sample of that Sunday Riley flash serum before you swap for it. I got a sample of it in my Play box and it caused me to break out. I have dry (but not sensitive skin) and am not prone to break outs but it caused me to break out after using it just once. There have been numerous comments on Sephora’s website about it.
