Very unhappy I got the stocking stuffers and the general box. I looked at many unboxings online and they looked great . Mine was Cheap Cheap Cheap stuff. packages of crayons, plain plastic drinking cup and many more let downs. I know blind boxes are a mystery but I will not be ordering from them again.

We just got the $8 beauty box and it was nicer than any box we ever rec from Walmart or Target. I will definitely order another one again. I shared with my 15 year old daughter and we got 4 items each.

How do I get free shipping? I added to the cart but it is showing me shipping charge. I’ve never ordered from here before so?

Keep going all the way till the end of the process… you should see shipping charge taken off.

I bought 2 toy mystery boxes & they were EXACTLY the same! The value was in fact there but seriously the same. I have ordered one of the stocking stuffer ones. But just one lol, lesson learned!

I have gotten some really great stuff that I pick ked off Hollar. They usually have a discount going and you can find some good items if you check regularly. I would say it is more equivalent to the 5below store than the dollar store. Hope that helps.

I bought 3 of the mystery boxes they had recently. I was very impressed! My total was around 25 bucks and I feel if I went to the store I would have spent over $100 to get the same stuff from Walmart or Target. Some of the items were misses for my household, but others were nice surprises. I got a makeup organizer, an E.L.F. eyeliner, spice organizer, a box of crayola crayons, a nice smelling body mist from a brand I never heard of (so was surprised it smelled good), durable cup, a tweezer set (which worked really well, which also surprised me as it worked better than the Sephora tweezer I was using, comparable to Tweeezerman), a light up arrow sign that takes batteries (interesting) it would look cool in a dormroom or kids room, a bamboo fiber (?) plate, a canvas tote bag, a Sally Hansen sparkly nail polish (nice), a drug store brand lipgloss (forget the brand), a truck and track toy for a toddler (gifted to my nephew), some canvas organizers, a slotted serving spoon with a grapevine design, a box of nestle hot cocoa mix with marshmallows, there is other stuff, but this is some things I got off the top of my head it all came in BIG box. Nothing was broken or “blemished” (which we were warned on). The shipping was fast. I feel like I sound like a Rep for Hollar, but nope, I am not. I used to review Subscription Boxes, so it felt like a nice bargain to get this stuff! I would give them a try, especially if you can get the $5 off promo– not much to lose here. Pretty low risk.

Has anybody bought stuff from here? What’s the quality vs. The 99 cent store. Thanks for any input.=)

I agree with Melissa, not quite as bad as Dollar Tree/99¢ Store but pretty on par with the Target $1 section. Surprisingly good quality and legit-looking company for what price point they’re selling stuff at.

I’d describe the quality as being akin to the Target Dollar Spot. Just slightly better than most 99 cent store stuff, but fitting as they have a lot of $2 and $3 items at Hollar. Hope that helps!

I wouldn’t get this mystery box though, as it’s not much of a discount for random stuff; you’d probably be better off just selecting individual items. The new customer discounts are pretty good!
