I am re-gifting lots of sub box items I’ve received this past year and won’t use. I am also thinking about Nest candles for my son’s girlfriend/almost fiancé. I had planned to gift Robb Vices to my son but I haven’t been that impressed with ours lately.

I’d like to hear about great CS experiences. We seem to hear a lot about bad CS but it would be nice to hear some outstanding experiences. CS is essential to me in choosing which businesses to use.

Have gifted Ipsy to my sister which she really seemed to enjoy. My MIL was mixed feelings on the kcup sub I gave her. My daughters liked the Boxycharm they received from their aunt. I would give ipsy or Boxycharm.

I gifted my sister with an enjoy leggings 3 month subscription for her birthday in May, and she has since run out and requested another subscription for Christmas! She says they’re just like Lula and super cute and comfy.

Previously tried gifting my partner with MightyFix, Birchbox Man (before it went downhill), and Loot Crate (not all at the same time). Only the Birchbox Man was a hit, so I’m pretty clueless about what to get this year.

Pop Sugar for my step daughter and daughter in law. Maybe Vine Oh for my other son’s GF.

I’ve gifted graze to my sister and love with food (she loves both). I want to gift her PSMH if they do another BF deal. I gift my friends usually birchbox or sephora play. I give my nerdy friends (like me) loot crate or loot tees/socks. I want to gift my aunt an essential oil or candle type box. Cousins I was looking at gifting love with food or another box that would offer a good BF deal. I’m pretty open with also making gift boxes with all of the stuff I have. Also, my glossyboxes make for great gifting boxes. I might gift glossybox to my mom, because I’ve never had issues with them and I think she would enjoy that it’s more skin products and not makeup heavy. I also would gift her loot tees or lootwear. It’s really open when it comes to her…

Just finished 3-month Birchbox to a friend. Thinking of gifting her 3 month good being next.

Might gift another friend Pusheen box depending on what the winter box looks like. Boxwalla is supposed to do a one off box with a movie, book and food/drink item. Waiting for more info on that to gift to my mother.

Haven’t found anything my father would like. And trying NOT to gift myself Just the Right Book. HA HA!

IPSY to my best girlfriends cuz it’s affordable to do a whole year for each and they get to fill in their profile. Plus it’s a gift every month for a year! 🙂

I’m probably going to continue Gentleman’s Box for my brother; and Birchbox for my sister-in-law. Maybe tea subscription for daughter; have just subbed to Pusheen for her. Maybe Mighty Fix for granddaughter this year; she’s taking home economics, with cooking, this year in school. Tried her on Ipsy, but she wasnt into it. Might not continue the food boxes for grandson; he’s been getting Love with Food, and Yummy Bazaar, and Music Box. He’s such a teen, at 12! Maybe Birchbox Man, for him!

Box subs have been a wonderful discovery for me. I spend a lot of time reading about them, and I find it a lot more enjoyable than going through a store would be. For me.

I agree. I hate shopping most times I can never find what I want to gift. And boxes are like instant gifts!

I’m gifting Sprezzabox to my brothers. I’m still looking for other subscription boxes for other male family members.

I’m also gifting unused beauty products from my subscriptions to my female family members.

I am gifting Boxycharm to my sisters. My husband gifts me Emma & Chloe. He said that way each month when I receive a piece of jewelry it reminds me how much he loves me. I think it’s really sweet.

I think Popsugar makes a great gift; especially if they have a good Black Friday/cyber Monday special. Plus I have tucked away some goodies from boxes that I received earlier this year that will be added to gifts.

Won’t be gifting any boxes, but will be gifting lots of tidbits I saved from boxes. 🙂

I’d like to see the answers to the question “what has made you drop a sub?”

Reply ButtonReply

Jeanette

great question!!!!!!!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Elly

That’s a great question. I’d definitely like to see answers to that. Recently I had to choose between several subs and all things equal—price, quality, value— I chose which ones to drop based on the misspellings (sometimes multiple) on the letters or item lists. Maybe that will sound petty to some people, but spellcheck is everywhere. It speaks to lack of attention to detail, and if a sub owner can’t be bothered to run spellcheck or proofread, I don’t have a lot of faith in their professionalism as a whole.
