Sunday Subscriber Survey time! We're going to try something a little different this week!

You are curating a Limited Edition Holiday Box! The box will cost $100 and have a retail value of $250+. What do you put in it?

General items (like a faux fur throw) or specifics (the tarte Limited Edition Treasure Box) are both great!

What item(s) would be in your dream Holiday Box?

P.S. If you have an idea for a future Subscriber Survey question, let me know in the comments!

-A plush poncho or wrap (I can’t get enough of them!)

-Something rustic and decorative to hang or display, along the lines of “Country Cottage” rather than flashy.

-A rich, hydrating body butter or balm.

-A luxe candle.

-Gourmet treats: high quality chocolate covered caramels, hot chocolate or hot buttered rum mix, cranberry salsa, dip or spice mixes.

-A long necklace that can be wrapped around twice.

-A cozy rich colored throw.

Fun question!!
1. A nice extra soft cozy blanket, throw or scarf
2. A winter scented candle
3. A festive color liquid lipstick (so you won’t get lipstick on your pull over sweaters or hoods)
4. A sugar lip scrub (to keep those lips hydrated)
5. A serum to wear under foundation
(Winter dries/chaps the skin)
6. A holiday glitter/shimmer eye shadow, liner or nail polish, because you will be going to fun Christmas/Holiday events!
7. Make the box or bag fun with a big bow or exciting holiday themed look to make you feel like you are getting a gift!
8. A bonus item that is unexpected!

Let’s see….
For a Winter box –
A nice blanket, one that works for actually covering someone up 😉
A poncho, cape, or something similar(that covers tummy and booty areas lol) but that is made out of natural fibers 😉
A nice beeswax candel
Maybe essential oil set or blend for the winter time blues/colds
Travel items(to go somewhere less cold) like packing cubes(maybe even compression ones) or a travel blanket or nice and soft neck pillow
Maybe a nice jewelry piece to top things off, bracelet, or necklace(prefer the more “simple” like an elephant charm on the necklace or lotus, etc)

That’s the main cool things I could thing of that I always want to see in a winter box! I am sure there are some others, like skin care and beauty ones, but mainly just like seeing the “not see often/at all in sub boxes” stuff! Nice when they shake things up and give new types of items!

My box theme would be “Vintage Winter,” with a focus on accessories and lifestyle pampering. It would come in two main palette choices (‘December Sky’ (dusky pastels & turquoise) or ‘Mulberry Spice’ (deep wine colors), with minor variations between those boxes.

It would include:

– Info card on products

– Winter Sky packable hat from Victorian Trading Co (retail $65) or something similar – the hat is 100% wool and theoretically ‘packable’ – giving it greater versatility for travel and wear. Ideally, would come in two different colorways for the different palettes, and the milliner decoration would be a removable pin, giving the hat more options for wearing.

– Exclusive Beauty advent calendar in one of two designs to fit palette/theme (~$80?) The mulberry spice option would lean towards more evening wear/party makeup, whereas December sky would lean towards soft hues and glows for a snow-kissed day look. Mix of brands and types of product.

– Winter themed Tea Infuser (such as snowflake charm and crystal beads, or a winter themed shape – retail ~$12? – might vary in design)

– Three 1-2oz loose leaf tea packets in winter flavors/types and various brands to try, such as white champagne raspberry, cardamom french toast, winter pine, rooibos winter spice, eggnog, etc. (~$15 for three packs)

– Vintage style touchscreen gloves (retail ~$20) in the chosen palette

– Amoorella (etsy) earring studs (moon berry or turquoise depending on palette choice, with either gold or silver fleck – four variations (~$28)

– Deluxe Candle depending on palette choice:
Cottage in the City Himalayan Victorian lidded jar candle in Ginger Patchouli for mulberry spice box ($38)
Carved Candle & Toy carved snowdrop candle w/meadow scent (~$30) for December Sky box

– Three vintage sled themed sugar-cookies with decorative icing, one gluten free (~$9)

Other possible items – everyone would receive two:

– Petite Queene Anne light garland ($12.95) from Victorian Trading Co

– Three sheets vintage winter themed wrapping paper w/three gift tags (~$12)

– Sephora Winter flush blush palette ($16)

– Two pairs ‘colors of a winter’s night’ slipper socks from Greater Good (~$12.95)

– Poesie Perfumerie 5ml rollerball perfume in Circe or Thornfield (~$16)

Approx minimum value: $275

I want to buy this box! Just throw in some gourmet chocolates(preferably in an Advent type calendar) and it’s perfect!

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

Bite beauty lip mask
Oribe shampoo and conditioner
Diptique candle in a fall or winter scent
A decorative crystal bowl for candy or fruits. Something that catches the light but doesn’t scream holidays,
A long necklace suitable to be wrapped around twice to make it shorter, sparky but not necessarily heavy. (Maybe freshwater pearls interspersed with Swarovski crystals)
Some thing like the Donni Charm ovresized erroneously Rachel Zoe last year. So soft and so versatile. Fits everyone and looks terrific. Or a velvet kimono that was truly sized for everyone (or where you could pick a size, including plus sizes)

I’m going to second this entirely! I need this box!

Cathy Lacey

Forgot to add that all of these items would be luxe & the skincare/body items would be luxe as well or natural.

The main thing I want are things that are NOT in other boxes or haven’t been in other boxes, i.e., new & wonderful items!

Okay… I am getting really excited.

Question…

Can I go ahead and buy this box NOW, because all of these items are phenomenal???

I have been drooling over the Tarte Treasure Box!

Survey question idea: what subscription item did you dislike when you saw the spoilers but ended up liking/using when you received it in real life?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

I liked season themed boxes. The perfect box for me would be
Fall box-Fall festival theme:
Nice knitted wrap/shawl,
durable carry all/tote bag,
Assortment of artisan chocolates,
Travel size assortment of skincare including sunscreen, moisturizer, cleanser, and eye cream
Purse sized notebook and cute pen.
Oh la la! Perfection in a box.
