Limited Edition Burt’s Bees Box: Burt’s Box FULL Spoilers!

I got way too excited about this box since I love the Burt’s Bees products. But I should have waited for the spoilers. If you wear makeup it is probably a good deal other than the folded mirror that was a bit cheesy. I’ll try the mascara and the blush but I don’t wear eyeliner and the eye shadows are a bit muted for my taste. The lipsticks are nice-very smooth with a touch of color. The makeup brushes were incredibly soft, with my only complaint being that they have brushes on both ends so you have to store them lying down rather than standing up. Overall a good deal if you are expecting a make-up box and like very soft colors in your make-up palate. It’s just that I was expecting more things like lotions and skincare products. I should have investigated more before buying.

I actually really like this box. I got the last one that was mostly skin care and could not use all of it because of some of the ingredients. This box has no products I will cannot use. In addition, I am super lazy and unknowledgeable about makeup. This really simplifies things for me.

I’m glad I passed on this one… I’m sure the makeup is good but for $65 I think it should’ve included some of their skin care items as well. With the no returns policy I would think that they may have some problems if any single men got this thinking it would be skin care 😔🙁

I feel like a dummy. I bought this thinking it would be skin care since that’s what I associate with Burt’s Bees. But it’s all make-up! Oh well, maybe I can return it…..if not, then gifts.

Got the box Saturday. I thought it was a nice box for the price. It was basically two makeup looks with one liner and mascara and a set of brushes. Everything fits into the bag, including the mirror. I’ve got a lot of palettes, so if I don’t like the sets when I try these, I’ll just give these away, but I sure do hope that I like the pigments.

It seemed like they tried to give women a really good sampling of their new makeup line. I was hoping for some things to share with the men in my family, like face washes, toothpastes, deodorants, etc, I feel badly for a single guy that might have bought this thinking it was going to be moisturizers, lip balms, etc.

I am only interested in the lipstick and I already have it! Glad I skipped.

I just received this box today. I was hoping to get a couple of skin care products >_> The packaging of the eye shadows and blush felt a little cheap, but the color was nice. I like the little folded mirror a lot (although it also felt a little cheap). I don’t use eye liners or mascara, but I tested them and they were pretty good. The two glossy lipsticks smell so nice, but they are too sheer to show up on my lips. The brushes are okay. I will keep everything, but I wish I could have waited for the spoiler…

Glad that I did not buy it. I have tons of mascaras, black eye lines, and shadows are too dark.
