Birchbox has added new items to the sale section and Aces get up to 40% off select items! (Everyone else gets 30% off!)  This includes new products, Limited Edition Boxes, Kits, and other beauty sets! There's no coupon code necessary, the discount is automatically applied.

FYI - As an Ace, I see messaging for 30% off on the sale page and in the cart but did receive the 40% off discount

One of our favorite deals (40% off) in this category:

The TAKE15 promo code also worked. Got an extra 15% off the total. Got the Refresh and Reset Box and Mystery gift for $22 after discounts and 640 points.

I can’t get Take15 to work. What’s the trick? Is there another 15% code?

I think there may be a minimum order for the promo. Try Hello for 10% off.

Lordy…I was going to avoid this…don’t look, don’t look! but I caved…. All sale is supposed to be 40% for ACES plus free shipping. It worked out that way for me. I got the Macademia Dry Shampoo which was already on my wishlist, the Pinrose set as I am a sucker for scent, the sample kit for wavy hair, and the Davines hair milk as I love that brand. All that plus a bonus pack for $50 shipped…really can’t beat it (said for validation!)

I just got two of the Peter Thomas Roth mask sets (desperately of course to maximise promos!) and they were 40% off. Also got a perfume sampler because I wanted the tocca travel size.

I meant separately… but yes I was desperate to get them 40% off haha

Jeanette

how do you become an ace?

Luna

I believe they recently changed it as to where you have to spend $350 in the calendar year to qualify. I might be off on that amount though. It used to be $500.

Thanks Luna!

Christina

It’s not taking the % off and I put a sale item in the cart. The peter Thomas Roth mask set is coming up full price.

It’s probably a sign I need to stop buying stuff…

Not, Josie

will this work for the new Vogue kit? Birchbox is outlawed at work. MSA, is safe for now…

Cara

No, the Draper James and Vogue LE’s aren’t on sale (yet…). Maybe next time. Same for the new(ish) discovery kits – the naturals, new lip kit, and Maid kit aren’t on sale. Pretty much all other (old) kits are.

I wish they had a “newly added” search option. There are over 700 items and you just have to plow through to see what’s new.

Marion

I think that’s on purpose. I think they want people to put the 30% off stuff in their cart, thinking they’re getting 40% off everything.

Lindsay

I sorted by brand name- that helped a bit to find what I was interested in!

Luna

I just tried this, but it was only taking 30% off my purchase. I am an Ace, and I was logged into my account. It’s not meant to be. It’s cool.

Lindy

The 40% off only worked for a few items that were newly listed to the sale site…

The same thing happened to me, it said “30%” in my cart but it was actually calculating the 40% off. It was a little weird, it seemed like the messaging just hadn’t been updated.

Luna

Yay! It worked this time! 😀

Luna

Hmmm, I just checked, and I *am* still an Ace! Yay! Okay, I’ll have to try again to see what I’m missing.

Luna

Funny, I just noticed my original comment isn’t showing from a while ago, so I’ll post again (even though that typically forces my original comment to post. so, sorry for the double posting)…

I calculated the discount, but it was only 30%. I’m guessing I’m actually not Ace anymore. I think I made Ace around Spring of last year, and I assumed it rolled to the end of this year, but maybe it’s only 12 months after I became Ace. This year I don’t think I’ve even spent $100 yet on BB, so I’m nowhere to making Ace yet for this year.

Makenzie

Yeah mine said 30% off too but when I calculated the discount, it was actually 40%.

Luna

I actually calculated the discount, and it was only 30%, but now that I think about it, maybe I’m not an Ace anymore. I made Ace last year, and I guess I assumed it rolled to the end of this year (sort of like how Ulta’s & Sephora’s programs are structured), but maybe it only lasts 12 months since I became an Ace. I was a little nuts last year with my BB purchases, so it’s likely I became an Ace by Spring last year, but I don’t think I’ve even spent $100 this year on BB.

Clutterbee

Same happened to me. I don’t need to spend the money, so I also took it as a sign 🙂

Same, I’m only seeing 30% off, even in cart (and I’m an Ace).
