I requested the color pop liner in dtla and they got right back to me saying I could get it in my nexts months bag. So happy that they are so nice and accommodating! First time I requested anything and I just said I would like it but if I can’t get it I still love ipsy and they honored my request! Such good customer service.

Ugh! I so wish there was a way to mark allergies! If I get that stupid aloe one I’ll be so annoyed. It will literally be given to someone else and I hate that.

Anything but the brush. I already have 4 or 5 blush brushes from the past year. I only wear black eyeliner (it’s all I have, really) but I can’t pass on the burgundy or navy. Hopefully they show up on my skin tone, which is why I wouldn’t be excited over bronze or brown shades.

Can I just say Ipsy has the best customer service?
I received the Model Co eyeliner in this months bag, and it looked super dried out or something. It was white and blotchy. Not how you want a product making contact with your skin to look!
I messaged them yesterday evening about it and attached a picture of the product. I got an automated response right away letting me know they are a big backlogged. I didn’t expect to hear from them for quite some time, but they responded in about 2 hours. She told me they are sending me a Lord & Berry eye pencil to replace my Model Co eyeliner in the next 5-7 days, and that if I mailed back the defective eyeliner they would credit me a free bag for next month to cover shipping.
I mailed the eyeliner back today, and I emailed her back to let her know, and she quickly responded that she’d given me credit on my account. I double checked, and I won’t be billed until 5/1. So happy that they take such good care of their customers. They really went above and beyond what I was expecting. I thought they might just add an extra product to my April bag, but they really took it the extra mile. I really liked them before, but now I’m a fiercely loyal customer!

My eyeliner was completely broken…like in 3 pieces when I opened my box. I emailed them and they said they’d ship a replacement right away. I ended up getting a blush sample in place of it :-/

Thank you for posting this. I was not going to open it because I already have so many opened but I decided to check mine and it is also damaged. I sent ipsycare a message, and I was told they would get back to me within a few days because they were having higher than normal volume. I’m guessing because of all the bad Model Co. eyeliners.

I agree. Best customer service. They are so nice and respond very quickly. I love this company!

Mine also! It looked almost fuzzy white like it was moldy… Yuck! First defective product ever from ipsy though. Plan on sending them a pic of mine also.

I’m so glad I read this! Mine was the same!!! I’m going to email them!

Definitely reach out to them! I hated to complain especially when I loved everything else in my bag, but I wanted to be sure they knew just in case they were going to include them in other subscribers bags for next month. And I’m glad I did!

Yes same thing happened to me with my Model Co liner. Their customer service is A1. I mailed back my eyeliner yesterday too. I wonder if everyone that got Model Co liner had same issue. Mine also broke and chunck fell out as soon as i took lid off. Ashley from Ipsy cs team was fabulous. Big shout out to Ipsy customer service for being so great.

I had the same issue with my Model Co. eyeliner and they’re shipping me another one. Not expecting it to be better than the one I’ve already got (mine was chalky white and came out of the tube) but the customer service is great at ipsy. For $10/month I can’t complain and I get to try new brands.

Definitely! I have always had such an amazing experience with their CS! Probably the reason I am still subscribed.

Instead of asking if I can pick a sample like the exclusive group of people that receive these emails, I say, “Can you please include a [general product] in my next bag if you have it in your inventory?”.
If I ask for a blush they reply with a list of the blushes they have for the next month to choose from. If they don’t have any, they send me the general list of products here to choose from. I feel less guilty this way, like I’m not inviting myself to a feature I wasn’t personally included in. I’ve done this for the past 4 months and they’ve always been gracious about it.

This is a great idea! I felt so guilty the one time I wrote them and asked for a specific spoiler item. They wrote back and said that option was for a small test group, but that they would make an exception because I asked. It didn’t feel right. Haha.

This is a great idea, thank you for sharing it! I’ll try it next month if there’s not something I NEED in my life like the Lisa Frank brush and the snail cream.

with the spoilers listed above I know with my luck I’ll get the balm product since I always get them in my bags. I have a ton of the dime sized eye, cheek and bronzers from them.

I know, Ipsy in my experience makes it hard to opt out. I was pretty much told no when I asked for no hair care or nail products.

I asked for no brushes/tools and no nail polish and thy emailed me back saying they updated my profile and I wouldn’t ever recieve those. They are usually pretty nice. You can opt out of 3 things

Hmm… wasn’t OFRA Cosmetics Blush in Rendezvous one of them before? I emailed them saying I wanted this and they said they’d put one in my bag. Maybe they are all claimed now so they removed it from the survey? Is that possible?

Same with me. They said they’d give me the Ofra.

I emailed Ipsy and requested the Colour Pop eyeliner in ‘Best O’ and they said my pick would be in my bag! Also she let me know that if we email them we can opt out of a certain product for a certain time period. I had told her I didn’t want liquid eyeliners and she shared that they can’t you opt out of a certain formula of a product such as liquid eyeliner, but you could opt out of eyeliner completely for a while. They are so helpful!

Darn! I’m the opposite – I only use liquid eyeliners and have gotten crayon or pencil eyeliners in my last two bags. My eyes are sensitive and liquid eyeliners are the only eyeliners that don’t tug on my eyes.
I was thinking of emailing them and asking them if I could only receive liquid liners…

Yes you can pick upto 3 items to opt out of. I opted out of brushes, bronzers & blushes. I wish i could add eye shadow to that too but im at my limit already. Pretty sure you would have to email them and tell them you want them again if you suddenly want them in your bags again.

I tried to opt out of all hair care items and nail polishes and was told that I couldn’t opt out of an entire catagory.

So good to know!!
