Now I’m really upset! No angry! They did the samething and I also upped my purchase to receive this box! How shady 😡 Has anyone received this box? This also happened with the makeup brushe set they offered a few months ago.

I just got the same email..really upset. I don’t think this was fair or good business at all. They had the nerve to say, “Rest assured, you have not been charged for this item” It was a Promo for a free set for spending $50…how can that be assuring???

Same thing here. I’m so annoyed right now! I wouldn’t have purchased additional items if I wasn’t going to get the GWP. I thought that’s the whole point! GRRR!

It’s still in their GWP shop! My God they’re so sketchy now. I got the GWP 2 months ago and they “forgot” to send 10/13 samples in the GWP. They offered a different gift but none of the other gifts were as good. I feel like they’re lying to customers to bait more short term sales. And then they “find” the rest of my GWP, offer it, and then can’t even deliver it to you. Ha. I returned all the items in my order and told them it was because they deceived everyone who added the GWP.

Be careful. They’ve been pulling a lot of nonsense lately with the “free gifts.” They have sent me multiple emails claiming to have run out of the gift (even when it’s still in the store) and then not offered to send anything in its place. I had to email CS multiple times each time it happened to get them to fix it or send a replacement. I’m really unhappy with Birchbox right now.

This is a nice enough free gift, really, so I don’t mean to sound complainy, but it has a definite “leftovers” feel to it if you’ve been a member of Birchbox for any length of time at ALL, IMO.
