Blast! Did Sample Choice already close?! I thought it just became available yesterday, but when I log into my account, it says it has already closed. Am I off on my timing?

I never regret cancelling. The curated box is always better so if you’re on the fence about it just trust me and go curated. No matter what sample choice they give you! I loved all the curated boxes, but with the sample choice I ALWAYS got repeats.
I’ve had so many beauty box subscriptions since Birchbox. I’ve had subscriptions that didn’t work for me and never impressed me, but I have never experienced a beauty box that I felt so ‘cheated’ about. I usually like when I get smaller sized samples just because of my limited space plus I can take as much makeup as I want with me anywhere. But I was insulted by some of the sizes from bb. Its literally the size of a foil sample, they just stick it in a bigger tube. ipsy is so much better and ipsy is not so luxury. If I could go back I would skip Birchbox all together.

So, I signed up again with the intention of getting a March box, they shipped me a Feb one today??? Why would they do that? It seems incredibly dishonest especially with the fact that they state boxes for that month will ship by the tenth of that month when you complete the purchase.

Thant’s odd.. because I just signed up for a second account on a different email 3 days ago, and I’m getting the March as my first box.. just picked my sample choice today. Also.. it says March will be my first. Maybe if you call them? Not fair really.. everyone should have the same options.

I went with the curated box this month because I’d use everything in it! So it was a winner for me. wasn’t feeling any of the sample choices because I own 3 samples of They’re Real from previous BB boxes, already own full-size arrow eyeliner and brightener (great product btw) and wasn’t into getting a face moisturizer.

I got the curated separately this month and picked the Arrow for my sample choice. I was torn between that and the Kiehl’s but I’m using La Mer right now so I don’t need a facial moisturizer.

I just subscribed to birch box a couple days ago so not quite sure how this works yet.
On the site, it says my box has already shipped. I thought I would be able to pick a sample tomorrow though??

I think ( not 100% sure because sample choice wasn’t a thing when I first joined BB) the first month you receive what is known as a Welcome Box. Then sample choice becomes available your second month.

I just remembered lol. Today is ACES only for sample choice. Or those who invited someone to check out BB. Tomorrow sample choice is available for everyone. So definitely check your account tomorrow because I’m not entirely sure if my first comment about new comers not being able to choose until the 2nd box is correct.
