  4. I’m so happy! I just got Sephora Play. I looked earlier tonight and the Sephora site said there were no subscriptions. I looked an hour later (from link on this site) and I got in! Woo hoo!

  5. Rando question. Just hopped in on this sub and I’m super excited! Will I receive this months box (Jan), or is this going to set me up for Feb’s box? Thanks y’all.

    • I just emailed them and they told me i will start with the feb box. I subbed yesterday. I really wanted januarys box thats the reason i signed up so i dont know if ill even keep it.

      • Aw man that’s a super big bummer. January looked awesome and that Clinique lippie looked great. I hope February is a good.

  6. I like it better than ipsy because the products from Sephora seem to be better quality.

    • I’ve had ipsy for over a year and sephora play box for about 5 months and I’ve actually gotten the same brands from both. One month I got KVD tattoo liner from sephora and the other month from ipsy and that’s happened quite a few times.

  7. Thanks for this! I was on the “wait list” but I dont think I got an email so I saw this and signed up fast. I signed up for this and Ipsy this month so I can compare the two. I couldn’t decide which I liked better so I guess well see what wins out over a year.

  8. Do they allow gift subscriptions? I clicked the link and it said I’m already subscribed, only 1 per person. I want to subscribe/pay for a gift for someone else. She does have a completely different name and address than me, but I want to pay for it.

    • sign out of your account and then sign up with her email address.

  10. Yay! I was subscribed, but there was a problem with my card. My email is glitchy, so I didn’t find out until it was too late. I contacted customer service and they said I was too late for the January box, but I should be set for February. A couple days later, I got an email saying my account was cancelled. >.< I do not know why that happened, but I couldn't resign up because subs were full. As soon as I saw this post, I raced over to Sephora and was able to sign up again, so thank you! I wonder which box we'll get first. Probably February?

    • I was cancelled too in December even though I’d double and triple checked that my card info was correct. I’m super happy they opened it again and I jumped on sub’ing. I’m hoping we might get January’s bag.

    • Wow, I had the same problem. I didn’t get January because they said my card wasn’t working…which is funny since it’s the same card I’ve always used and I haven’t otherwise had any problems with it…

    • Ugh, same thing happened to me – even though I updated my info 1) on time to receive January and 2) in time to not be cancelled, I conveniently got an email a few dye after updating my info stating I would not receive Jan and needed to update again. Promptly updated and hoped for the best, only to get an email the day after the cancellation cutoff saying it hadn’t gone through for whatever reason. I managed to re-signup through the website, but not holding my breath about getting Jan. If I somehow manage to get kicked yet again for Feb, my rouge account and I will happily find a new sub! Too many other awesome things out there to get hung up on it. 🙂
