For those who did NOT order the mystery box, consider yourselves lucky. I am SOOO disappointed. I ordered TWO of the boxes. The boxes consist of the January box in its entirely (but only one of the Kosta Boda heart glasses, instead of the 2 contained in the January box). Additional items were the rose et marius tumbler and candle (the “free” new subscriber sign up bonus from a couple of months ago), the darlington clock (corporate rather than luxury gift) and the socks (in one of the boxes) or the graphic image jotter (in the other box). To add insult to injury, the Kosta Boda heart glasses in BOTH boxes arrived broken, as did the tumbler in one of the boxes. I think the broken item issues was due to packaging. There is no inner box, the items arrive in just the corrugated cardboard box.

I’m in the “$135 for a candle?!” camp. As much as I love my mystery boxes o’ stuff, I think I draw the line somewhere before a $250 outlay for unknown stuff.

I must resist this but I want to see everyone’s boxes! And there’s probably stuff I’ll want. But no no no I’m passing on buying it

The link above took me to an old Mytery Box page… I searched around for the correct one- under the shop tab- and it is still available as of 9:15PST. Shipping to me in California is $10.

I’m tempted, as I really like that tumbler. I’m not yet a subscriber (wanting to sign up but not excited for the current spoilers so going to wait) so everything would be new for me. But for $250 I don’t want to end up with a zebra pendant, the socks, the vitamin c ampoules and the white rond craquele purse…all of which I think are likely candidates.

@Linda, hehe. I needed a laugh this am. I purchased a mystery box a few years ago with the travel brushes and “cheap” eyeshadows and I’ve never been able to bring myself to buy another. Which is odd because I’ve gotten some lousy LE boxes from PS and I keep on buying! I think it’s the amount of money that stops me. Disappointment at $50 is totally different from disappointment at $250 plus …

I just got the tumbler set when I renewed my annual subscription. I don’t think I need 2 and the price is a bit steep. I’m sadly going to pass on this.

The $135 is really for the tumbler that comes with the candle, I have 2 of them (from sub boxes) and they really are very nice.

agree, in person they are kind of amazing, not $135 amazing but part of the box, not so bad
