Any idea on whether you’d be able to choose a sample for next month or pick the curated box if you join today, or is it too late? I’m tempted to sign up but just wondering if it would be too late to pick a sample?

Question as I’m new to bb. If I let the whole box be a surprise, will one of the items still be one of the lip picks? I’m hoping they choose totally different items since I don’t like these choices.

So if I pick a sample, then I get totally different items from the curated box? Last month (my second month) I missed the sample pick and got the curated box but it was different from what MSA had. Confused.

For my January box I messed up on the selection part and ended up with a box that was 100% picked by Birch Box. I was so mad at myself for messing that up, I mean really how much more easier can it be…… anyway, come to find out, my January box was awesome. I was so happy with it, that for February I will not use the choice options and just wait for my surprise. ALSO, love ❤️ the box design.

I’m so confused, I lost my Ace status… did everyone’s points reset to 0 with the new year? If I’m not an ace anymore, I’ll probably just cancel – between the loss of perks and the changes to the points system, the value just isn’t where it used to be.

I am confused- it says I am an Ace but won’t let me choose a sample. I thought if you get Ace- it goes for another full calendar year after you qualify. It is hard to understand where I stand as an Ace- since it says I have qualified but then says I have only earned 4 points. It won’t let me choose a sample today- but when I add something random to my cart it says I qualify for Ace free shipping. Weird. I subbed first Nov 2012 so I am very curious whether or not I qualify for the secret box or not.

I still have my Ace status. I became Ace in April of last year, so maybe mine will reset then. I also had all of my points rollover into the new year too.

Wow. I had to check my accounts after reading this. I lost my Ace too. Very disappointed after my loyal shopping with them. Might be time to try something new.

Yeah I didn’t expect the loss of working up towards ace at the new year. I know points are good for six months, but it’s just a bummer that all the holiday shopping I do get reset pretty much immediately.
