Allure Beauty Box December 2016 FULL SPOILERS + $5 Coupon!

I’m kinda disappointed that there are THREE creams out of five. I may have been setting myself up for disappointment because I’ve been assuming it will be a special box because its holiday season. But seriously? Three creams?? Seriously??
I’m am all about the body creams I love them but it doesn’t sit right with me when its the majority of the box. It you look on the Allure sight its like they are saying sorry that these picks suck.
Like the neck cream they said, We know its ridiculous to pay money for cream just for the neck, but giving you this cream will make you pay more attention to that area. Oh and the eyebrow highlighter, you don’t have to just use it on your brow bone, put it anywhere you want! What I translated from those messages were, we know these suck, but you can make more uses out of this than what its intended for.
I assumed since it was holiday season they would have a lot of people sign up so they would want to make it a crazy good box so they want to stay. That was my logic. Now my logic is, holy s*** we have so many boxes to do so lets do some lesser valued items. Shame! That mystery item better be AMAZING.
I also think adding the beauty blender cleanser was kinda bad. No one really needs that you can use regular makeup remover for that. Also, I didn’t even own a beauty blender until two days ago. It was free with a purchase. I love the thing a lot but I never would have bought it myself. I would be much more disappointed if I didn’t own a beauty blender…
Its only 15 a month so I’m not enraged like I’ve seen a lot of people. Its just that beauty boxes are so exciting to me. We don’t have much money so I can’t splurge on beauty products like I really want to. When I found beauty boxes my life changed. Last two allure beauty boxes blew my mind. My absolute favorite was the Tatcha Indigo silk body butter. It makes me feel like a princess when in reality I’m a mommy with no time to herself. I couldn’t stop putting it on my skin and I even spent a hell of a price to get some more.
This is the kinda feeling I want. That one item that changes everything.

I’m kind of bummed that there’s only one makeup item in this box, but I do use skin care products. But $10 for one ounce of hand cream? Reminds me of one of my all time favorite lines, from the movie Working Girl, while Joan Cusack and Melanie Griffith’s characters are looking through the closet of Sigourney Weaver’s character, and Joan says of one dress with the price tag still on it, “Six thousand dollars? It’s not even leather!”

This will be my first experience with the Allure box. I hadn’t planned on getting it after reading a lot of comments about people being disappointed lately. But the Better Than Black Friday of six months for $10 each instead of $15 with no commitment roped me in. $10 is easy to say Yes to, because, you know, it’s only ten bucks, right? That’s one good lunch, or a movie, or a box of makeup.

I might get a November box since I placed my order on November 23rd. I like the December box better.

I was hoping that there would be more makeup products, but at least it’ll be Christmas soon and I can use everything except for the highlighter as stocking stuffers!

The December box will be my first. Will all of the spoiler items really be in the box. Or does Allure change the items?? Thanks for any replies. 👀

A box with items I’ve never tried. Yay! However I do have lots of handcreams and highlighters. But from companies I’ve never tried. It’s a win for me for $10.

I’m thinking this is my last month of Allure. Yes the value is great… for some. I’ve always gotten the very short end of the stick in product selections. And the two bonus boxes they owe me have never showed, despite several very productive encounters with customer service. For only $6/mo more, Boxycharm is well worth the money and exceeds all expectations.

Everything looks good to me. I thought I saw somewhere that the cleaning thing could be used to clean makeup off clothes, but don’t try it until you read the directions.
Does Allure give anything extra in the December box? How about for your birthday month? What if your birthday is Christmas Eve?

About a $55 value so far, and that’s with out the bonus item!! Not to bad for a $10 box.

Oooooh, a surprise item? So far I haven’t tried any of the products in this box. I do have a have blender so the cleanser is welcome. I just hope it is not Purlisse.

Decided to give Allure another try with the $10 deal. This box looks great! I’m getting my first Beauty Blender from one of the Birchbox kits I bought on deal earlier this week, so I’m glad to have the cleanser. Also, really looking forward to the hand and neck cream!

I got a shipping notification today. Technically I signed up in November. So is it probably the notification for the November box I am getting? Just curious. Kind of hoping for the nail polish variation if it is.

Just signed up! I have a love/hate with allure but I’m loving that the items are different than the usual boxes lately. Good value and fun new things to try. Don’t know if they can ever top that foreo box but I’ll give it a shot again.

This will be my first month with Allure. I’ve never have gotten any of this products before in a box or bag. I will use everything. Birchbox sent products I didn’t use and I gave them to family and friends. Very excited!

It’s not the most exciting box in the world, but I paid $10 through one of the promos posted here last week and it is certainly much better than the Birchboxes I was getting before I quit. So I am happy. (Also I should really learn how to do my brows.)

The 6th item will probably be a “surprise” scent of Bvlgari Omnia. :^)

I think the change of pace! I hope the 6th item is just as exciting.

I am definitely happy with this box. Everything is new and different and i have never tried any of them. Can’t wait to see what the sixth item is!

I don’t use a Beauty Blender, so I don’t need the cleanser, but I imagine it will be pretty swappable. I don’t use brow products, either. But I am looking forward to trying the neck product.

Where’s the rest of it? This is the lightest box ever
