Can you switch between nail polish and makeup some months or is it set for the duration of your subscription? When they say you can customize your box do you get to choose any polish on their site or just from a monthly selection?

You can choose from the monthly shades plus a lot of others. You’re not picking from the whole catalog, but there are plenty of items to choose from – both makeup and polish. You can switch it up as much as you want – all makeup, all polish, or a combination. What you select for each item can narrow down your choices though. Like makeup items usually have higher retail, so you’ll be able to pick two of those and then your third choice will be limited to a lower value item, like a polish.

You get to select your box variation each month. (They’ll preselect a box for you, but you can always log in and select a different variation.) The polish you can pick from is from the monthly selection – usually 10 shades. Hope that helps!

But you can pick makeup instead or a mix or skip the month as many times as you want. A 3 month sub lasts me about 1 yr…but i do buy stuff on julep seperately when they have deals throughout the year.

This is very tempting. I wish they took Visa gift cards. I tried to order with one once and it wouldn’t go through. It has to be a credit card. I really don’t want it on my credit card and I have a gift card with enough $ on it. Oh well, I’ll have to think about it. Also how much nail polish do I really need?

I don’t know if this will help you but I had the same issue. I bought an Amex prepaid gift card and it works! I’ve found it’s the only one that does. No go with Mastercard or Visa prepaid.

Hmm…I wonder if current members can renew at that rate? My 3-month subscription just renewed in November so I’m good through January but this is a good deal.

You can change after your current is over. I went from month to month to a 6 month in September, it’s just too good of a good deal!
