I bought one of the previous mystery boxes and got the one 1951 clutch size and color that I did not want (white and very large). I could have made do with the white, but the size was too big to be a clutch or a wristlet. Then on top of that, the chain was broken. As for the other things that came in my box…not one thing was anything that I had ever coveted when reading the reviews–not one item…it’s a bit uncanny really. A mystery, if you will.
So that’s my long way of saying, I think I’m going to skip the mystery this time around!

I can’t decide if this is something I want. $250 seems a bit steep for an unknown box. $600 in RV could end up being the clock, the blue clutch, nail polish and socks (lol!).

I agree. Luxor has had too many misses lately for me to take a chance on a mystery box.

Agreed. That’s an awful lot of $ to shell out for a mystery box and at little more than half off, no less.

I jumped on it . I am always pleased with my Luxor box , if I don’t love every item i always seem to know someone who would love to receive it. $250 is a lot of money , but these days it doesn’t get you much as far as Lux items go , so I figure even if I receive 2 or 3 items I love I will be happy! And I should receive it in time to gift family members who we celebrate with after Christmas ! I just don’t mind duplicates if they are quality items, I have so many people I love to share with !

I agree–I’ve never gotten this box and have been having fun with the Popsugar mystery boxes (I’ve just ordered one each time and I’m not a regular subscriber, so haven’t been stuck with a lot of duplicates or disappointing items), but $250 is a lot of money…

I wish there were a $150 option too.

I jumped on the last mystery box ($175 with $400+ value) and was really pleased with what I received, since I’m not a Luxor subscriber. I was tempted by this for a minute as well since the last box was so great for me – everything that I didn’t want to keep will be very giftable or swappable, and it even included an HD bangle. But $250 is a lot without a spoiler of any sort, especially since it’s almost guaranteed that this box will contain duplicates from the last mystery box. Some duplicates would be ok, but I would dread receiving some of the albatrosses – the Dartington clock (which wasn’t in the last box as far as I could tell!), another Shaffer clutch, etc.

$250 is a lot for leftovers

Agreed! If it was $100 or maybe even $150 I probably would have bought it, but not for $250.
