JustFab has a new styling subscription service very similar to Stitch Fix!

The Box: PS by JustFab

The Cost: $20 styling fee - goes toward the cost of any items you decide to keep

The Products: 5-8 items (pants, skirts, shorts, dresses, sweaters, shirts, and outerwear) covering most sizes. (Products sourced from JustFab's line)

Good to know: This service is available to all Just Fab VIP subscribers as an additional perk. (It's currently in waitlist mode.)

What do you think of PS by JustFab? Would you like to see it reviewed?

Just got to preview my first PS box, and it’s pretty much just stuff from the “wishlist” they have you choose when you set up your profile. So I’m not sure if there really is an actual person picking things out for me, at least not yet. But I’m willing to try this out, and see how it goes.

I just signed up as a VIP, I bought the cinnamon faux jacket, and an olive shirt, both size 1x, they fit perfect and I love both items, you get points for reviews and pictures you can also skip months, as vips, you get 30% off.

I was recently invited to try this service. Has anyone seen much luck with it? My concerns are that the fit across JustFab seems to vary a bit, especially in shirts (many are too small across shoulders/bust). Also, they have so many great sales that everything can be gotten for less than “retail.” Do you lose that advantage with the styling service? In which case, why would I use it?

I have not received an invite to try the service (I did sign up for the waitlist). One potential advantage could be if they consistently run out of your size in clothing, maybe you could actually get the items you wanted? When I shop their sales, there are few to no things in my size (usually XS or sometimes S; last time I went looking, lots of 1X was available, but not much else). I can always get shoes and bags at the sales, but they never have clothes that will fit me then.

I have received two PS boxes from JustFab and have been thrilled. My stylist has done an excellent job with both her picks and pulling items I requested and the quality of the items I have received has been excellent. The first box I sent back a couple items because I didn’t like how they looked on me, but they fit and were good quality. The pricing is much better for me than wantable or stitch fix. I would also mention that I wear plus size clothing and still loved almost everything I received. After my first box, I received a questionnaire asking about the process and if I would like to keep the same stylist for future boxes or try a different stylist – I felt like my stylist totally got my style so I chose to stay with her, but this is a great feature for someone who perhaps feels like their stylist isn’t quite getting their style.

I’d love to see a review. I really like stitchfix so far all 3 have been a 5 for 5 for me.

My friends really like JustFab, so I finally signed up. Got my first item for $10 plus shipping (I needed a new pair of black boots, mine just died!) and signed up for the waitlist. Curious to see how this goes. Please review!!

I was just thinking about JustFab and how much I love them – and then I see this… Signed up for the wait list! Id think the prices would be better than SF so I can’t wait to try this! Thanks for sharing!

I haven’t had luck with JustFab as far as quality is concerned (very Forever 21…throwaway fashion) and suggestions by my “stylist” (no, I can’t wear a mini spandex dress to work and no, that blazer doesn’t make the outfit work appropriate). So I’m going to pass.

I’ve had decent luck with Trunk Club and Keaton Row. I’ll stick to that.

I have issues with my stylist’s picks too, no matter how many times I give the same feedback over and over again. I did get a pair of snake print skinny jeans from them (in white, but I dyed them dark green) that fit okay even though they were a tad short.

I’d give it a shot if I actually saw some improvements in my VIP monthly selections.

I am pretty sure the monthly selections are computer-generated. I always ignore them. I don’t actually think a person is spending time picking things out when there is no commitment from the subscriber to even buy anything for that month.

I have not had a lot of success with Stitch Fix and if they don’t shape up with my November shipment, I will be looking for alternatives. I am already a JustFab member so maybe I should check this out. I bought a dress from there last month and it fits well and I like it a lot. And I think the price point is probably more agreeable than with a lot of the items Stitch Fix sends, especially since I need to buy a lot of clothes.
