Ipsy Reveals Are Up for the September 2016 Glam Bag!

Got my IPSY bag today:

HOWEVER- the bag itself smells awful! Pure chemical smell- will probably go in the trash 🙁
Happy with the products overall 🙂

Some people are getting the glam bag already and are posting videos of it on YouTube. The bag actually looks pretty cute. The colors and material look well put together. It also looks like the material is not just all black but it has strands of shimmer, I’m actually very excited for it 🙂

I’m glad I’ve only got one thing this month that has aloe. This is such a problem because none of the boxes I sub to give you the option to tell them about your allergies which sucks. It’s mostly annoying because I wanted to try this until I saw that is has aloe. Oh well, I’m glad to be getting the Too Faced item and something from Seraphine Botanicals.

Wish this site had a “chat” for each individual sub. Where we could go and talk about the items we got and didn’t want and the items we wish we’d got. I see a lot of people getting things they don’t want but others do and while the “swaps” is great, it’s kind of overwhelming trying to figure out WHO to actually swap with. I know a lot of people getting things they don’t want, myself included, just aren’t posting those things they don’t want on the “swaps”. I clicked on “discussion” thinking there MUST already be something like this on the site but there isn’t. Would really help to have an “ipsy” forum, a “Sephora” forum, etc. That way people could just swap within each sub, each month, meaning swap ipsy items for ipsy items. Being able to chat about it with people that are active and THEN heading over to the “swaps” to make the transaction would be EXCELLENT!

Has anyone’s bag shipped yet? Mine says it shipped out on the 7th and might get it on the 10th. Yay my first bag!!

I am still waiting for two of my bags to show. I know I am getting two nail polishes. One is the red and the be a bombshell. I keep nailpolish on hand because my 4 year old loves to have her toe nails painted. She loves hot pink. I had bought some nailpolish and she was told she could have her toenails painted because she was going to go to a concert. She saw the hot pink and she wanted her toenails hotpink, two weeks later her toenails were still hot pink.

I have 5 ipsy accounts. So far I have repeats on only two items and that’s the bb concealer and the it mascara, two items I can definately use. Two of my bags, they haven’t shown me, what I am getting yet.

So glad I canceled for this month! Looking at what everyone got, I have yet to feel the need for bag envy. I probably would have been disappointed with this months bag, looking at all the varieties that were sent out. No regrets at all. And I did not like the bag. May also skip Oct, as I don’t like Halloween themed things, they are so seasonal. Like to receive neutral prints.

Was really hoping for the Lip Injection and a nail polish. Womp womp.

Seems to be a lot of variations. I am actually very happy this month and when I saw the bag design and the items I didn’t think I would be. I have multiple subs and I have finally got different things in each, it’s a miracle. Even though I got some items I doubt I will use I’m still extremely happy because I got different items in each bag. And surprise, surprise yet again they give all the best stuff to the “blond hair, blue eye” account. I like every single item in that bag. I’m excited to try the two DIFFERENT mascaras, first time I’ve gotten a different mascara in each bag, usually I get the same mascara in both. Right now UD’s “perversion” mascara is winning, never thought I’d see a better mascara than the MAC they discontinued years ago but I had people literally stop and ask me what type of mascara I had on the very first day I wore “perversion”. I’m so glad Sephora sent them out in last box, I would have never found it on my own. Now I’m ready to see how the tarte and it mascaras compare.

So as much as I dislike my bag this month I still will receive 2 items I want to try and hope to like. I can’t complain because for 10 bucks I’m saving myself the money of paying for the full price item in hopes that I like it. With that said I freaking hate nail polish o keep giving low reviews and don’t know what else to do….no nail polish for me please. All the people who complain about mascara I would trade any day, just no nail polish.

I’m looking forward to the mascara and hair product, but the lipstick Ive tried in a diff. sub box and it was too dark of a nude with my fair complexion. My oily t zone never has never met a BB cream it liked, but there is a first time for everything! Not feeling the nail polish either but we can’t always get what we want I guess haha. Total bag envy this month at some of you! :p

Anyone else think the bag this month is hideous? Usually I love Ipsy bags.

ATTENTION IPSTERS: If you are receiving the Be a Bombshell nail polish, which color is showing in your profile? One subscriber on here said she always gets the color that shows in her profile, but I’ve never paid attention. I was just curious if anyone’s is showing the Va Voom color. Mine is showing fuschia, but I’m hoping for the other one.
