I ordered this for my daughter and completed the steps to get off the wait list; however, I have not received any notification about shipping and have not been charged. How long does it normally take to ship the first bag?

Hello Anna. Ipsy will charge you at the beginning of the next month, when you subscribe after their billing dates (sometimes between the 1st and the 3rd of the month). They will ship it around the 8th-10th via USPS and you should receive it a few days later.
For more inquiries you can contact [email protected] and they will get back to you within 24 hrs.

Same here! Even though every product may not work for me, it definitely makes gift giving SO much easier(!!!), so it’s totally worth it to me. Plus, with my latest bag, I realized that I really love picking all of the little items out of each bag one-by-one, looking it over, swatching it, etc., then going to pick out the next item. Something about going through that process makes me so happy. 🙂 (I also feel the same way with my Lip Monthly & Beauteque bags!)
