Ipsy August 2016 Glam Bag Spoilers Round #3!

I want the Nomad and Cover FX but doubt I’ll get either tho but way it seems to go!

I just received my first bag and am excited. I figured what I don’t use, will help fill Christmas stocking for my adult daughter and daughter in laws. There are 5 of them. (Yes we do stockings-they will always be my babies ). It is great to see the surprise in their eyes.

I can see what I’m getting this morning, and I’m receiving two of the featured products. And actually two of the products I wanted! The Tarte lippie and the NYX illuminator.

So… I’m able to see what I’m getting this morning and I have to say I’m not impressed. Hopefully next month will be better and I may attempt the “swap” this month. I have never tried to use it but maybe I will get lucky and find someone that hates something I wanted this month and loves something I got but can’t use. One item I’d really like to swap is the Beau Gachis Paris Pro Series Applicator Sponge, I’m guessing its got about a $14rv. I don’t where any foundation and so it’s pretty much useless to me. I also got the Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in Black Magic, which would be fine but my eyes are very sensitive and I cannot do the waterproof eyeliner thing. I usually line my eyes with a wet brush and black eyeshadow. Then there is the Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Lip Conditioner in Vanilla Coconut Cream and the Symphony Beauty Makeup Cleansing Wipes. The wipes would also be fine but I’m sensitive to aloe vera, strange as it may seem. ugg. I really wanted that jelly pong item and with THREE subs with ipsy I didn’t get it. Hopefully all three of my bags aren’t the same color.

Guess I am in the minority here and I do not like this month’s bag at all. Not a fan of the face on the bag. I prefer plain old prints.

I hope I Get some black eyeliner this month. I’m running out. Ha Ha! I really am. I got 7 mascaras last month. I believe Play by Sephora has eyeliner and mascara. I don’t need anymore bronzer til next summer. I always love getting eyeshadow, I have a collection and it’s fun. I have a masive face and hair product collection. Nail Polish I have enough.

Really hoping for the Lux Diamond Complexion Powder in light! If I don’t get it I’d love to swap for it ?.

So color, to Ipsy, equals rust or brown, is that about right?

I have the same issue every month. They always send a mascara and an eye shadow without fail. I have omitted the eye shadow and mascara in my beauty profile because I have too many already but, of course, Ipsy ignores it as usual. They send a lot of clownish color blush too that I don’t use. It does no good to fix your profile because they don’t pay it the least bit of attention. Think if this bag is another dud I’ll cancel.

My biggest problem with Ipsy is their complete unwillingness to send two different bags to the same address. People have duplicate subscriptions in hopes of getting different variations….with so many bag combos, that shouldn’t be difficult. I wouldn’t even mind a few dupes, but a different combo at least. I also have two completely different profiles (which doesn’t seem to matter at all). But with that being said, I still have two subscriptions. Hope springs eternal…..LOL!!!

The bags are beautiful but I know mine will be stuffed with five black eyeliners somehow because I don’t ever wear black. I really really really want the Gimme Brow!

I really want either the trust fund liquid lipstick or the jelly pong pong neopolitan eyeshadow. I have oily skin and, even though I’ll play with a highlighter once in a while, it does me no favors. There appears to be a lot of highlighters ?. Gimme brow would be good too. I changed up my profile after a semi-disappointing bag last month. Hoping for the best.

I like the bags!!

I’m really hoping for the little Jelly Pong Pong Neapolitan palette and the Gimme Brow. I really liked the Jelly PP bronzer duo I received in a previous bag, I used it like everyday for two weeks straight as an eyeshadow. I liked it so much I bought a second so that I will have it when I run out of the one I received from Ipsy. But then I received a Jelly PP lip product in another sub and didn’t like it at all, it was a nice product but just didn’t work for me. So, I’m very interested in trying another “powder” product from Jelly PP to see if that’s what I need to stick to with them. I also ended up buying the Gimme Brow after trying it in another sub box, before trying it I never used any brow product and now I’m hooked, so I’d love more. lol. I just really hope I don’t get any liquid face products like the primer or the liquid highlighter by nyx. I haven’t been able to find a single liquid face product that doesn’t cause a breakout. I’m fine with any type of powder on my face but the liquids cause immediate itching followed by bumps. Wouldn’t mind that ofra highlighter either.

I really hate how ipsy does so many product spoilers! I have never once gotten the spoiler that I wanted. At least let us pick one like birchbox!

I got the tarte lipsurgence back in April. Please no more black eyeliner or mascara. I wish I would get a brown or other color liner instead. I would love to get the blush or nyx illuminator though. And so far do not see any brushes. I love getting brushes and never have enough!

The bags are so pretty! I hope I get that Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow palette, and the trust fund lipstick, and that nail polish, oh and that mask. Ok, ipsy, just let us choose already ?.

So many great options! But with 3 (three!) Black eyeliners in the mix you know I’ll get another one, to add to my stash of 72 other black eyeliners.

Seriously good products this month! All welcome. Great-looking haul.

I want that bag.. I canceled for this month before all the spoilers and now i’m regretting it!! Any of the products i would’ve been happy with.. EERRRR

I unsubscribe door the past two months. But I couldn’t help but resub. So many amazing products in these sneak peeks!

I am actually excited! Brands I have heard of and never get!! But let’s face it. I will get mascara since they sent me one last month. Eyeliner since I get one every month. And something spilled or broken. I’ve had that twice in the last few months. One they replaced by me just sending a pic of my bag and broken item. The second one last month never resolved. Hair oil in the whole bag. The brush I got smells great drop the oil! Sent more than one message to them. They made it sound like its my fault my bag was sucky last month. So I changed my profile in hope of changing it up.

I am so excited. The bags are gorgeous and I will be happy to get everything I have seen so far. I’ve been an Ipster since February and they are getting better and better every month. Even the off month bags still manage to make me happy once I get them.

I would love that Trust Fund lippie. But looking at everything, I know I will get another liner, another eyeshadow palette and a lip balm. I do not have eyeshadow on my list, I rank it low every month and every month I get another one.

I am super excited about the bags!!! way more than the contents lol
