  1. They upgraded to a new website recently and ended up charging a BUNCH of old and cancelled customers for another box (including me).

    This wouldn’t have been a big deal IMO except it means they don’t ever delete your credit card information, which is a HUGE security issue.

    I couldn’t in good conscience subscribe to this box again knowing that about the company. It’s the year 2016, they should know better at this point.

    • Website don’t keep credit card info, merchent services companies like Stripe retain this information. Online companies don’t even have access to that information. I know this because my husband works on this software.

      This is my favorite box so I feel like I have to share this info.

      • Well, then their merchant services company kept my credit card information (and others) even though we had cancelled our accounts.

        I’m glad it’s your favorite box 🙂 I had a good experience with them until this. But the fact that I managed to successfully cancel and then later be charged again exposes a big security issue, and that’s the point I was making, not on the quality of the box.

        • I completely understand your complaint Krista. Seems a bit confusing as some sites your able to delete your credit card info and some you are not. When I cancel a sub I try to email them and ask them to please delete any and all account information, credit card as well as online account, especially if I do not intend to sub again. I had to email them because I could not cancel my sub on the new site. They thanked me for the info as they basically had kinks to work out and said I would not be charged again September. Crossing my fingers. I love this sub too, but it seems the switch did not go very smooth. I am now getting two of every email from them.
