I got an email from them today. Lowest value after calculating was 138 so still a pretty good value. And I’m going by the size I think they’ll be .which is travel

No. I’m already on the verge of cancelling my Allure sub as it is.,,

Pass. As a frequent traveler only 2 products really stand out as “must try” and “traveler” focused. Also for the price the box seems skimpy and like other super lackluster. Nothing in that box is worth the space in my TSA APPROVED sized liquid toiletry bag…

:)

What’s funny is that I probably would have purchased this if they didn’t spoil the contents…

Liz I love your new picture. ❤️

The products, individually, aren’t bad but I’m not willing to pay $40 to try 2 or 3 of the samples that intrigue me.

Nope, especially since Allure CS isn’t the best.

Jackie

Worse CS ever!

I just finished a survey from Allure about beauty boxes. The questions centered on a subscription box from Allure that would cost $18. It kept saying it would include deluxe sizes.

IMO $18 is too high unless they brands are high end, all samples are deluxe sizes, and at least one item is full size (at least some of the time).

Seems to me that Allure is trying to figure things out about their future in the sampling business. I think we will be seeing the last of the Beauty Thrills boxes this year as they move into the smaller subscription box niche.

Yep easy pass. The value just isn’t there for me. I use to be bad about jumping then reading lol Not anymore! I’ve avoided a lot boxes by giving that pregnant pause, and my wallet thanks me lol

Agreed. There are two things in here I am interested in, and I can easily get both of those far far less than this pricepoint.

It’s sad how companies just start taking your money. This last Aug box I opened it and was like meh and put it aside and still have not had a need to use or explore with the products since they are past or not new to me products.

I thought the cylinder in the lower right hand corner was maybe a phone battery pack which perked my interest, but then I realized it was a lipstick.

The value doesn’t seem there to me.

I was ready to say take my money and then I looked at the contents and said nope. I was excited because I thought it would be good travel stuff. But this is a hard pass for me…

The eye patches seem to be worth $33 on their own….

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

That’s the one they will substitute with something so I wouldn’t count on it Lol it says in fine print under the eye patches that it’s while supplies last for them

This seems extremely lackluster after the New Beauty Test Tube $50 box….

Samantha

I’ll pass.

Not a good deal. Of course after the new beauty box, I think these boxes are easier to pass up. ?.

Nah…

Is that a foil packet I see ??? noooo !!! Lol
I just don’t know how its a 150$ value with travel sized items?
And I just got a travel sized wet brush in my box , so easy pass

I know, even at $10 a piece, it’s not worth $150. I feel like Allure is spreading itself too thin and needs to get it together before they keep branching out. I got a survey from them yesterday about the July box, and it was basically all about did it make me go to Nordstrom (no), and should they collaborate with other stores (no).

Agreed on spreading themselves too thin.

Getting basic day to day operations up to snuff, consistency in their monthly boxes and completely overhauling their customer service (or lack of) would be a good start before branching into a bunch of different limited edition boxes.

All of the above mentioned seems to just be hurting their brand.

MzBev

HA! Same thing I thought! Foil packets? Um no thanks!
