I bought the dog sample box!! Your credit you have to use on dog products you buy through Amazon but I do that anyway.. I have amazon prime and it has been so worth it because I buy so much from them so it pays for itself with all the shipping I have saved!!

My dog can have stomach issues when his food is changed, but an occasional treat doesn’t bother him, so I’m in! Hoping the credit can maybe be used to buy his normal food, but if not, there are plenty of treats he would love to have LOL>

I have those ideal balance treats AND the rawboost on subscribe order every month! WIN for me! 🙂 My dogs (and cat) loves these treats.

I ordered one. I had some gift card balance so I only ended up paying $0.54, and that’s before I get the credit.

I’m not sure if I’ll change my dog’s diet, but it should be nice to try some new treats, plus have the full price back to order more of the foods he currently eats.

I think the credit is only good toward the purchase of the full-size version of an item included in the box. So unless his current food is one of these brands, you won’t be able to use the credit for it.

We tried the cleaning supply box a month or two ago, and you could use the credit on a lot of other types of cleaners that were not included in the box. Maybe this works the same way… and you have the choice of a lot of pet-related products.

I though about this, but Greenies is one of the featured brands, so, worst case scenario, my dog will stock up on even more Greenies treats lol (just bought a jumbo size package on Prime Day).

That is exactly what I planned to do, as well. I have had lots of dogs over the years and always contact a veterinarian for confirmation of anything before I make a change.

I would definitely purchase a dog treat sample box, but varying your pet’s entire diet with sample products isn’t likely to work out well for most dogs. Best practice when switching your dog’s food is to do so gradually, combining the dog’s current kibble with the new, phasing out the old food over the course of about a week. Feeding your dog a new sample each meal might cause indigestion, and won’t allow you to really determine whether the new food is beneficial for your dog.

We mix my dog’s dry kibble with wet food from a few different brands, no problems with either dog so far! THANK YOU for telling everyone this though, I would never just give my dog a new food cold turkey, my cousins did that and their dog pooped all over the house for like 12 hours straight 🙁
