  1. OKAY I need to back away from this already ordered two! It is a nice gift, but will probably keep both! “LOL”

  2. They are still available! I wish they weren’t though because I just ordered another one! I can’t resist….the addiction is real

  3. I got my kit today and the mini tatcha container is so cute ?

    • They make for such cute gifts. Everyone I’ve ever given them to absolutely loved the packaging.

    • Are they in there own box?

      • Yes

        • Thank you!

  4. It’s in stock but with only 7/12 of the original items available to choose. The egg pore mask, Erborian moisturizer, sheet masks, and Boscia peeling gel aren’t included now.

    • Looks like everything is back in stock again, I was able to add any sample to my basket.

      • It needs to go back out of stock because now I bought two

  5. I did order online, saw my basket totaled $100, so I called Sephora to double-check. The CS told me not to worry, the balance would go down to $25. I hit the pay button, and of course, it didn’t go down. I was charged $100 plus tax for my entire order. Ugh, had to call Sephora again.
This phone call lasted over one hour while this CS verified who I was, what my order was, looked it up, asked me about the order and finally cancelled it with my ok. Then he asked if I wanted him to replace the order with him. So I figured sure, why not? He starts out by saying for all of my trouble, he’s going to give me 200 points. Sweet.
We go over the original order, and what’s missing? One of the promo code items. He tells me he can’t add it, because “on his end, this item is a promo, and he can’t add another promo code”. So no promos for me. But before I could say anything, (and believe me, I was ready to) he tells me he’s going to add another 100 points to my account.
So, 90 minutes later, I had the order completed for the right price, 3 samples, a birthday gift (it’s my birthday), and 300 extra points. All in all, was it worth it? Idk, I’m so tired of Sephora’s games online. I was actually cooking dinner while I was doing this transaction with them. The hassles with them just aren’t worth it to me. Sure, the points are nice if you can find something you want.
What I ordered for the 5 products = $56.73 so that’s more than double the cost of the item, so it’s worth it, yeah. But so is my time.

    • Tip for next time. ๐Ÿ™‚

I posted earlier yesterday, but it’s easy to miss: you need to have the kit in your basket before you check out too.

After adding all the items in your basket, you can search for โ€œTokyoโ€ to find and add the kit. Choose โ€œQuick Lookโ€ so you can add the kit to cart directly without having to select the items again. It should activate the discount in your cart.

      • Ok, thanks Erlien, I’ll keep that thought. So frustrating! My card still has the extra charge on it from Sephora!

  6. i was still available to buy on my iphone app, just show that six items available, but I got , what i wanted, so I am happy, plus tree samples plus 7 ren beauty shots :)))))

    • *able

  7. I saw this set last week from a blogger and it was sold out by the time I got on my PC, so this is the second time they were selling. Hope they bring it back again for those who missed it.

I was able to get one before they sold out. I choose 2 x Skin Inc, Tacha, Dr. Jart, and Amore Pacific items. I used the code for 0.5 oz Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer for $25 purchase as well as 3 free samples. If the bag is quart-size, can I use it for airport liquid carry on or does the bag has to be all clear like ziplock bag?

    • According to TSA it’s supposed to be an all clear plastic/vinyl bag with no item being over 1oz each. I don’t think I’d test it just to reuse the bag.

      • EC, thanks for the comment. Maybe I will use it for something else and stick to the clear one. As to the liquid, it is up to 3.4 oz (100 ml) for the carry on, but all needs to fit in one quart bag per person ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Confirming that it’s showing as out of stock – for now anyway. I know the ladies on Beauty Talk (the very active forum on Sephora’s site) were eagerly awaiting this set becoming available. Between us and them (and who knows how many other blogs and forums), I guess we overwhelmed their stock!

    Here’s hoping they replenish!!

    • It was in stock 5 minutes ago when I placed my order over the phone. You might want to check again.

      • It’s been going back and forth, it turns out. I wound up placing a second order today, but wasn’t able to get two of the things I wanted (the Skin Inc mask and the Erborian milk.) Oh well. At least the Belief duo and the SK-II were still available.

  9. I just went back to order a second one and it went out of stock right as I was placing my order! Boo

    • It is back in stock!!!! Run!

  10. In case anyone needs, I did the value calculation based on the biggest size available at Sephora to be fair.

Skin Inc. Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask SIZE 0.68 oz — $30
Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack SIZE 1.69 oz — $10
Tatcha Polished Deep Rice Enzyme Powder SIZE 0.35 oz — $10.83
Dr.Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm SIZE 0.66 oz — $15.84
belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb and Moisturizing Bomb Duo Value $20 — $14.93
Caolion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo — $10.29
AmorePacific Moisture Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System SIZE 1 oz — $12.96
boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel SIZE 1.7 oz — $11.56
Erborian Ginseng Milk SIZE 1 oz — $6.09
    SK-II R.N.A. POWER Radical New Age Cream SIZE 0.08 oz — $6.81
    Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask SIZE 1 x 0.95 oz — $7.00
Shiseido Perfect Cleansing Oil SIZE 1.3 oz — $5.85
    When Snow Magic Sheet Mask SIZE 1 x 0.8 oz — $7.00

    • Erlien this is super awesome of you!!! I’m still choosing the SKII bof cause I’m totally obsessed with the brand but I’m using your calculations as a guide on the other items that I haven’t tried.
      Thanks for this!! ???

  11. Not working for me at all. Super frustrating.

  12. Every time I click Select to add an item, it just opens the item’s description page rather than letting me select 5 and Add All To Basket. What am I doing wrong?

    • Their site is horrible.. It keep asking me to sign in and to create an account, even though I already have one.. Was able to order one last night, but can’t this morning..also, when I get off browser and try typing in the, it only opens a blank page that I can’t refresh.. Love Sephora but their site is subpar

      • What internet provider are you using? Explorer often causes problems with a lot of websites. I stopped using it altogether. Use Firefox or Chrome.

        • It wasn’t working for me with Chrome or IE, but I got it to work on the iOS app.

        • Neither Firefox nor Chrome worked for me.

  13. Amazing! I bought two of these and filled them each with the Tatcha…I was actually just about to re-purchase the full size and per ounce, this is a great deal!

    • Was able to buy second set only through the app 5 mins ago.. Couldn’t complete purchase via the link this morning! Got more tatcha, skin INC and dr Jart this time!

  14. This is amazing, just ordered it! I also added the lancer polish promo for free with $25 purchase and three free samps!!! and free shipping for rouge WOOHOO!

  15. Not working for me on app, mobile website, or pc. It won’t let me select the 5 items. So I’ve added them individually and gone through to the very last step in the checkout, and no discount. They all show as $20. Very frustrating. Anyone have the same problem?

    • Same for me. I’ve tried twice from the pc with the same results.

      • I also wasn’t able to get the price down to $25 (either on my phone or PC), until I removed the SK-II from my cart and added something else. The SK-II must be sold out?

        • I couldn’t get it to work from my computer after switching to the app on my iphone it worked with the SK-II.

    • Did you also click add all to basket? That’s how the discount came in for me.

      • It has something to do with being able to add the actual kit for $25 to your order. I can’t add the kit on my mac, the button for Add to Basket is grayed out, but on the app you can actually add the kit for $25 and that’s what immediately drops everything else to zero and gives you the $25 total.

      • it worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy on the mobile website.

    • I had to call customer service. They acknowledged it wasn’t working on the website but were able to manually place the order over the phone for me.

    • After that, you can search for “Tokyo” to find and add the kit. Choose “Quick Look” so you can add the kit to cart directly without having to select the items. It should activate the discount in your cart.

      • THANK YOU!!! Only way I got it to work for me!!!

  16. Just an FYI- the SK-II R.N.A. POWER Radical New Age Cream is only 0.08 oz which actually makes it one of the least valuable products of all of the selections. At first I was really excited about choosing it and then I checked into the value per size. Not trying to rain on anyone’s parade- I just know I would have been so disappointed in how tiny that really is, if I had chosen it. ?

  17. It isn’t taking the price down at checkout?? Something else I’m supposed to enter?

    • I was going to get more and I did some calculations just like you did and realized the same thing. All in all, still happy about the value overall but definitely not going to get another set with the SKII although I’m sure the teeny tiny sample will do wonders for my skin ?

  18. Not working for us Canadians. Just says email when in stock. Lame.

    • I think the Canadian version went on sale on June 22nd on the site. I can’t tell if they were two different sets (Canada vs. U.S.), but it sounds like the Canadian version is sold out now. Hopefully, they’ll restock soon!

  19. Being able to get more than one sold this for me! I got three Tatcha and two SK-II! Incredible value! Take notes birchbox this is how you cater to customers!

  20. Great idea from another post to get several of the same item, there is obviously a much better value if you get the SKII, Tatcha or the Skin Inc samples, instead of the sheet masks which are single use and sell for around $8. I tried a sample of the Skin Inc sample months ago and loved it, but did not repurchase because of the price, so I was happy to grab 3 in my order.

    • The SKII sample is so small though that it’s only worth $6.57, less than the sheet mask. That size Tatcha sells for $15, but the greatest values appear to be the belif duo at $20 and Skin Inc at $30.

  21. I’ve been feeling so smug about my restraint this month, but today I got this and a LaRitzy mystery box… eep!

  22. I have soooo many K-beauty samples that I haven’t tried yet from all the boxes that keep showing up at my door, but when I saw that I could just get 5 of the SK-II creams, I had to do it.

  23. Just a note: the Tatcha is for OILY skin. The Gentle is for dry skin, Classic is for normal/combination skin. This is the Deep, for oily skin.

  24. You must try the Tatcha face polish. SKII is the best, it looks like a small container but seriously, SKII is a gift from God! Can’t wait for this delivery!
Not that I need anymore products but who can resist???

  25. 25 bucks? Yes, please! I love the Jart BB and got three of them along with the Tatcha, the pore pack and a slew of samples with the case and free flash shipping. Sephora is really doing it right. I dunno what Birchbox is thinking, trying to take on Sephora.

    • Oh Darn! You could get more than one of something? I didn’t know that! Did you have to do any fancy maneuvering to accomplish that?

      • Just alter the qty in your cart (you can only have 5 things total though for the discount to work)!

        • Lindsay, you smart cookie!!!

      • Never mind; I figured it out.

    • I have very red undertones to my skin (rosacea like) and currently use IT cosmetics Bye Bye Redness and like it. But it’s expensive for a small amount. I already ordered a Tokyo set but didn’t know about the great reviews of Dr. Jart until after I submitted my order. I’m tempted to order another set with at least one Dr. Jart sample to see if I like it as well as what I currently use since a Dr. Jart full size is just a little more in price for four times the quantity.

Anyone have any comparisons between the two products?

      • I have the same issue and have tried a lot of BB creams. I like Dr Jart, but it’s not my favorite. Try the pink bottle of Skin 79. You can get a full-size from Ebay for like $14 (just make sure to select a seller who ships from the US or you’ll have to wait a month for it). It goes on really grey (like Dr Jart) but adjusts to your skin after a few and provides great coverage without looking caked on.

        • Actually, I just looked on eBay and you can buy 10 foil packets of the BB cream for $4 including shipping, so that’s an even cheaper way to try it.

          • Thanks! I’ll check it out!

  26. I wish they offered this all the time! Looks like a fabulous value. I ordered egg mousse, tatcha, skin inc, shiseido, ginsing milk.

  27. This was a great deal, plus free shipping (normally I have to spend $50). I wish they would send out products like this in the play box.

  28. I couldn’t resist picking this one up – I am getting the Too Cool for School, the Tatcha, the Dr. Jart, the Belif and the AmorePacific items. I also added the Yuza Double lotion as my free gift, along with free samples from Elizabeth & James, Tatcha, and Drunk Elephant. So much stuff for $25!

  29. THIS is what Birchbox needs to do! I am much more excited about paying $25 for 9 deluxe samples and 3 foil packets (with the bonus code) of items I’ve never tried before than spending $10 on another mascara and 4 small samples of the same old things.

  30. I got to use my birthday gift, plus I had some points for another deluxe sample, the 3 regular samples, and for the extra I chose the Clinique free plus 3! I can’t wait to get all of my goodies!

  31. Well, this was too good to pass up. I’ve been wanting to try Tatcha forever!

  32. Sweet free shipping too!

  33. Wish we could use our Play cards online! ?

  34. Finally! Got it to work! $25 plus tax and free shipping. Great deal. Don’t forget to add your 3 free samples AND the one other sample from the page link above. The cosmetic bag is supposed to automatically be added but I didnt see it.

The grand total for my order was $125 and went down to $25. woohoo

  35. Clicked on it just to check it out, when I saw it was only $25, purchased! I hope they keep doing something like this, I liked being able to customize the kit.

  36. It’s not deducting the amount from my total, just shows the full price at checkout…..

    • Are you in the app? I heard people ordering in the app weren’t seeing the discount. I got the discount using the mobile website. If it still won’t give it to you, can always try ordering over the phone. Good luck!

  37. I think it’s $25, not $50!

    • Oops! Thank you, fixed! ๐Ÿ™‚

  38. It’s actually $25 right?

  39. I just got this a little while ago!! Pretty nice selection of goodies I haven’t tried before. ๐Ÿ™‚
