I just purchased the 1 year ($100) subscription but there was an $8 tax too 🙁 Comes out to be around $9 per month/per box. Keep in mind for some of you there will be tax on this.

I received the June box that Liz describes above and it was lackluster… but the July box, holy cow! Over $160 worth of products guys! It came with 3 generously sized samples of Express Flower Gel, Global Perfect, and Hydra-Global along with 2 foil samples of Eye Contour Mask and Phyto-cernes Eclat #2. I’m a face lotion junkie so July’s box was definitely a win for me!

I also have not received shipping or tracking notifications for either month, they just show up magically!

Kelli, did you notice that the boxes arrived around the same time of the month? Trying to figure out if they send all boxes out at a specified time each month or if it’s dependent on when you signed up for the subscription. I’ve received June so far, but not July.

My July box just arrived today so I’m thinking they always deliver at the end of the month. I’ve been signed up since June and both arrived late in the month.

Michelle

I subscribed and never received my box and never received the order either. Sisley customer service is a joke. Claim its my fault for not having my items delivered. Shame on Sisley. Thank God my credit card company is disputing this. Buyer beware this is not a responsible company.

I’m glad I read your review. Thanks

Wish I saw this before I ordered Michelle. I am going thru the same thing. You cannot get any help with Customer Service. The take messages on the phone number and never reply to the emails.

Does anyone know if the subscriptions are now closed? I’m ready to cave but getting a 404 error from the link?

Anya

You can still sign up for it by going directly to their website and adding it to your cart.

Laura

Did anyone end up signing up for this one?

I signed up and echo Anya’s comments. I’ve only tried the tiny oil sample so far, but I got a solid 5 days of use out of it. Small but definitely fun to try something so luxe for a week. One thing to note is that I didn’t get any shipment emails or tracking information. When I ordered, the confirmation indicated the box would be shipped the next Monday so it seems like the monthly ship date will depend on your original order date.

I did and just recieved my first box this past Sat. It came in a small box and the samples were placed in a white satin drawstring. Cleanser and toner were decently sized, others were foil packet or similar, but I knew that going into it. Since the products are so expensive, even small quantities are valued high and overall I’m happy with my purchase. I love that I get to try high end products without the high end price.

I’ve only tried the cleanser so far (as I’m trying to slowly savor each product and introduce it when my existing product type I use runs out) and it was amazing! Made my skin super soft and smooth and was gentle but effective at removing makeup. Per their website, next month will feature some of their makeup items.

And I’d love to try their skin care line, heaven knows this is the only way I’ll every get to do it, but make up itself would be a miss for me. Maybe I should wait it out another month to see how the distribution of products shakes out …

Beth

If they did month to month maybe but even then I sadly have seen and probably used something along the way but it’s not a brand that know much about. I also see foil samples and I don’t mind it as a add on or an extra of course, but as 1 of my five samples. BOOOO!!! I have been spoiled with the Allure Beauty Box so now I try really hard not to stick my nose up when I only get 5 small size samples in a subscription box. I know oil goes a long way and it’s high-end… I’m not going to lie though, the second I seen (New Beauty Subscription Box for 10 dollars) I stopped breathing for a second and went straight to the site like a crazy subscription box stocker. No really, I need to start going to meetings..”Hi My Name Is Beth And I’m Addicted To Boxes. “LOL
Looks like it’s gonna be alot of skin care and I have enough of that stuff to last me until I’m 60. Blah Blah Blah sorry people.

Liz, can you order month to month?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

No, they only have a 6 month and 12 month option.

This is intriguing and I just might bite. Hopefully, this box will be added to the ‘I want it’ feature on the site so I can follow news, reviews, etc. before I sign up.

What makes them so good? I never heard of them before i feel lost ….:(

I would have subbed, but I’d rather do a monthly sub, not 6 months at a time. I’m sure it is worth it. Maybe after I see at least two reviews…

Can anyone tell me what preservatives they use? Looking to see if they use phenoxyethanol in their products. Thanks

Trudy

Sounds like a very moisturizing, cleansing box ?

Thank you for letting us know about this subscription. I went ahead and signed up for 12 months which saves $20.00. I have rarely seen even samples for Sisley so felt this was worth it. I am a little worried that I going to want to go for full size products after I try. Hopefully there may be some discounts offered.

Anya

I did the same. I figure $8.33 monthly for high end skincare samples is worth it to me, esc given samples from this brand are hard to come by where I’m at. Excited to see all they have to offer!

Connie

Received an email after signing up that you earn rewards points on the subscription which adds to the value for me.

I can address the sample sizes: The cleanser and toner are GWP sizes, the buffing cream is (I believe) a foil sample. The oil will be a small plastic bubble with the oil in it. Not experienced with the body product.

If you use the oil correctly, it should allow two uses. While face is still warm and moist, put 2 – 3 drops in palm of hand, rub hands together and press into facial skin moving palms around to reach entire face. I have this product and it’s wonderful.

I don’t think I’ll be subbing to this, only because of the mandatory six month commitment, but I will watch the story unfold.

I agree. I was looking forward to subbing until I saw that commitment. Hard pass especially when it comes to a new sub.

You know how they say ‘don’t try on the suit if you can’t afford it’? I worry about trying more high-end skin care because the last time I did that was with the Lancôme Visionnaire Nuit sample from the Allure Beauty Box and it’s such a great product I’ve been buying $70 jars of night cream ever since.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I loved that stuff too! I just can’t bring myself to pay for the full size.

Reply ButtonReply

Chanttee

You’ll need to pour that face oil right onto your face because 0.01oz would probably be absorbed by your fingers before if even touches your face! LOL I guess if you love Sisley products this may be enticing, but those look like free samples.

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

They’re going to count on the cache of the brand being enough to sell this and they’re probably right.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Tiny sample sizes only? Not this time, but I’ll be interested in what they offer next month.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

I was wondering the same thing.. if these are foil samples. I love Sisley products.

Reply ButtonReply

Becky

I would have subbed to this at 10.00 a month but having to take a 6 month sub screams they are not confident in their product to me. Looks like a great box but I only sign up for monthly subs so I’m not locked in to something I may not like.

jeein

Wait, Sisley? SISLEY!???!

I never sign up for a long-term subscription (always keeping it month to month), but this will be my first! Gosh, a box full of SISLEY!?!?!??

Reply ButtonReply

Lesia

My thoughts exactly! Will be subbing..and a high end company that I was curious about..even better!!

Reply ButtonReply

Dom

This is my reaction too! I love Sisley!!! But they’re so expensive that I hardly get to try stuff unless I somehow get a sample of it. I don’t usually order ahead, but I’m going to give into this. If Guerlain made a box, I would have died and gone to sub box heaven.

Reply ButtonReply

jeein

exactly! LYSLAIT Cleansing Milk and Floral Toning Lotion are cult favorites but I could never afford them ($100+ for toner? haha..) These two alone in deluxe size (1oz) make the box worth it, even without the other three tiny samples. Cannot wait

Sara

Are they foil packet sizes? The buffing cream and facial oil look like packet size, which look smaller than Birchbox’s samples.

Jody

sounds good but i don’t want to sign up for 6 months at a time ):
