I love E&C’s blouses, but I am a little disappointed that two of the three shirts this season are t-shirts, and that none of the tops are white. I think I may sit this one out. I do like that scalloped blouse, but I don’t think the t-shirts are nice enough to justify a subscription. The one with the lace elbows especially looks a little DIY.

I’m a little disappointed in this season’s box and two out of three shirts being t-shirts. There are plenty of places to buy a long-sleeve tee, and I think the one with the lace elbows especially looks a little DIY. What I love (present tense–I still do love them) about E&C are their blouses and special tops. Even though these t-shirts have embellishments, I don’t feel they are nice enough to justify the subscription.

I also wish at least one of the offerings were white because that’s what drew me to this box in the first place–building a collection of white tops that I can dress up or down and layer. If they are going to expand into colors, I’d like to see either (1) more offerings per season, so I can stick to neutrals and avoid colors that I don’t wear, or (2) adding more shirts to their permanent collection.

I do like that scalloped top, but I don’t need any black tops, so I may sit this quarter out.

I took a quick look at all three, and saved them all in my account. I have yet to meet an E&C top that did not look good on me. The detail (yes, even the lace elbow patches) are part of what makes the clothes special and interesting and often look better in life than on photos. I like unique detail on clothes!

Beautiful shirts. Especially the black one but oh why the elbow patches! Like the color of the 3rd shirt but the elbow patches are a big nope.

I love 1 & 3, but I just can’t do that grey on #2. They had a shirt that color last fall and it looks so drab on me.

Really like the first 2 tops! Can’t decide if I like the 3rd. Love the color and usually like elbow patches, but the lace. Hmmmm
